Hello HIVE-Community ! I present you your newest addition: Me! [ENG/GER]

Hello there,

I'm @g3kk0u and I found my way towards Splinterlands and therefore towards HIVE-Blockchain about two months ago. I'm still a beginner, definitely. However, since my childhood I like to play card games, like Yu-Gi-Oh! and later on Hearthstone.

But first some information about me:

I'm a child of the late 90's. I grew up with a computer and books from the library in my children's room, so I'm a gamer since I held my first Gameboy! at the age of five. So slowly my first quarter on this planet is running out and I'm still finding my place on this big, wide and fascinating world. I live with my sweetheart and with my cat together in a small apartment in a too big city. From my childhood I knew cats, because my grandma had some. Now I always thought if I'm grown up once I will be a dog owner, but a few months ago, a friend of mine stood in front of our door with the little cat, she could not leave the paws of his beautiful plants. In addition, she was also nocturnal (what a miracle) and whether we could probably not take care of the little one. Well, anyway, she fits perfectly to us and feels very comfortable in our little home.

Mostly I spent my time for my previously mentioned passion from childhood for games of all kinds, especially my love for Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! I'm also always available, for good series and movies so always come with your recommendations! Among my favorite movies are films like: Law Abiding Citizen with Gerard Butler, classics like the "Godfather" trilogy but also newer movies like "Ready Player One" based on the book by Ernest Cline. But also the anime One Piece and various other series have done it to me.

I think the HIVE-Blockchain is a wonderful, complex construct of which I may only understand a part of the surface of the iceberg at the moment, but it gives me or us one thing above all: freedom. The idea of the "Proof of Brain" principle is simply brilliant. This is exactly why I am writing my Introduction here at this moment. The HIVE-Blockchain is awesome. I want to be a part of it. I will start with Splinterlands! The gameplay is good to get in quickly and the higher you get the more exciting it gets. At the moment, I'm fighting my way with my starter cards and a few delegated cards from @jamesbattler through the Splinterlands, slowly towards silver 1 ! I'm currently still relying on my water cards like the Coral Wraith or Torhilo the Frozen ! A bull made of prismatic ice, as I can see from the nice artwork, with a lot of power!

Why G3kk0u? Why the logo?

My name is inspired by an antagonist from One Piece (Gekko Moria). I designed the logo as a doodle during math class when I was about ten or eleven years old, and I swore that if I ever did something important, I would do it with this logo. A big thank you goes to @sabsel for editing the logo and the banners. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

While we're at it I'd also like to thank @jamesbattler again without whom I definitely wouldn't be here. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your support!

What does the future hold for us?

For now, I will focus on Splinterlands while exploring the HIVE-Community even further. I'm excited about where this path will lead me and I'm looking forward to the future that awaits us. I will continue to educate myself, so I can learn more about this complex world of HIVE.
Useful contributions etc. in this regard are of course always welcome.

Hallo HIVE-Community: Ich präsentiere euch euren neusten Zugang: Mich.

Hi und willkommen zu meinem #IntroduceYourself,

Ich bin @g3kk0u und habe vor ungefähr zwei Monaten meinen Weg in Richtung Splinterlands und somit auch in Richtung HIVE Blockchain gefunden. Ich bin noch ein Anfänger, definitiv. Allerdings spiele ich seit meiner Kindheit gerne Kartenspiele, allen voran Yu-Gi-Oh! und später dann auch Hearthstone.

Nun ein paar Infos zu mir:

Ich bin ein Kind der späten 90ger, quasi mit dem Computer und Büchern aus der Bücherei im Kinderzimmer groß geworden also ein Gamer, seit dem ich mit fünf Jahren meinen ersten Gameboy! in den Händen hielt.
So läuft langsam mein erstes Quartal auf diesem Planeten ab und ich bin noch dabei meinen Platz auf dieser großen, weiten und faszinierenden Welt zu finden.
Ich wohne mit meiner Herzensdame und mit einer Katze zusammen in einer kleinen Wohnung in einer viel zu großen Stadt. Aus meiner Kindheit kannte ich Katzen, denn meine Oma hatte Einige. Nun dachte ich immer wenn ich einmal groß bin werde ich Hundebesitzer, doch vor einigen Monaten stand ein Bekannter vor unserer Tür mit der kleinen Katze, sie konnte wohl nicht die Pfoten von seinen schönen Pflanzen lassen. Zudem sei sie auch nachtaktiv (welch ein Wunder) und ob wir uns wohl nicht der Kleinen annehmen könnten. Nun ja, wie auch immer, sie passt perfekt zu uns und fühlt sich pudelwohl (auch wenn sie eine Katze ist). (siehe Bild oben)

Meine Zeit nutzte ich bisher, falls mal welche übrig blieb, für meine wie bereits erwähnte Leidenschaft aus Kindertagen für Games jeglicher Art, allem voran meine Liebe für Pokémon und Yu-Gi-Oh! Für gute Serien und Filme bin ich auch immer zu haben also immer her mit euren Empfehlungen! Zu meinen Lieblingsfilmen zählen unter anderem Filme wie: Gesetz der Rache mit Gerard Butler, Klassiker wie die "der Pate"- Triologie aber auch neuere Filme wie "Ready Player One" nach dem Buch von Ernest Cline. Aber auch der Anime One Piece und diverse andere Serien haben es mir angetan.

Ich denke die HIVE Blockchain ist ein wundervolles, komplexes Konstrukt von der ich im Moment vielleicht nur einen Teil der Oberfläche des Eisbergs verstehe, aber Sie gibt mir bzw uns vor allem eines: Freiheit. Der Gedanke des "Proof of Brain"-Prinzips ist schlicht und ergreifend genial. Aus genau diesem Grund schreibe ich hier in diesem Moment auch meine Introduction. Die HIVE Blockchain ist genial. Ich will ein Teil davon sein. Den Start mache ich mit Splinterlands! Das Spielprinzip ist gut geeignet um schnell rein zu kommen und je höher man kommt desto spannender wird es. Im Moment, kämpfe ich mich mit meinen Starterkarten und ein paar delegierten Karten von @jamesbattler durch die Splinterlands, langsam in Richtung Silber 1 ! Dabei setze ich aktuell noch auf meine Wasserkarten wie den Coral Wraith oder aber auch Torhilo the Frozen ! Ein Stier aus prismatischem Eis, wie ich es dem gelungenem Artwork entnehme, mit ordentlich Wumms! (Siehe Bilder Oben)

Warum G3kk0u? Warum das Logo?

Mein Name leitet sich von einem Antagonisten aus One Piece (Gekko Moria) ab. Das Logo entwarf ich als eine Kritzelei während des Mathematik Unterrichts mit ungefähr zehn oder elf Jahren (Siehe Bild oben) und schwor mir damals, sollte ich irgendwann mal etwas Bedeutendes auf die Beine stellen, dann mit diesem Logo. Ganz großen Dank geht an dieser Stelle an @sabsel für die Bearbeitung des Logos und der Banner. Von ganzem Herzen, vielen Dank!

Wenn wir schon dabei sind möchte ich mich auch nochmal bei @jamesbattler bedanken ohne den ich definitiv nicht hier wäre. Von ganzem Herzen, Vielen Dank für die Unterstützung!

Was bringt uns die Zukunft?

Ich werde mich fürs Erste auf Splinterlands konzentrieren und dabei die HIVE-Community noch weiter zu erkunden. Ich bin gespannt wohin dieser Weg führt und freue mich auf die Zukunft die mich bzw. uns erwartet. Dabei werde ich mich immer weiter bilden um mehr über diese komplexe Welt von HIVE zu erfahren. Nützliche Beiträge etc. diesbezüglich sind natürlich bei mir immer Willkommen.
