Are you new to Splinterlands and searching for some advice, then you found the correct series! In this Beginner’s Guide Series, we are discussing things that new players of Splinterlands should know or try to learn. In this specific episode I wanted to talk about my current Splinterlands journey and what I was able to accomplish so far. I will start with the overall stats and a general overview over my current deck. Next we can take a look at my favorite cards. Last but not least, I would like to share my treasures that might not seem like such but are defiantly for me! Keep in mind though that I am definitely not one of the whales here. I am just a regular person who likes to play occasionally and treat this game more like a game rather than an investing opportunity. With that being said, if this article motivated you to start playing this amazing game, then feel free to join the fun over the following link:

Overview & Stats

Let’s start off nice and easy with some general facts about my deck! For starters, I am currently having 138k of Collection Power. At the moment this would qualify myself for the Diamond 3 league. Unfortunately for me, I am currently struggling winning consistently which is why I am stuck in the Gold League Realm but on the other hand: every time I am starting to win a few games I am coming up against opponents that are just out of my league with the level of their cards! Saying that, I am trying to build out my base of cards so that I will be able to win more consistently.

Like I said, my sweet spot is currently in the Gold Leagues where I am managing to earn around 2 to 3 Gold chests per day as well something between 20 and 30 gold chests per season. It might not seem like much but I am definitely able to obtain some cool cards in the process and for playing about 30 minutes a day I am pretty happy with what I can achieve so far.

Keeping it general, I am currently having every Chaos Legion Summoner on at least level 2. My most played element is the Earth one where I managed to level Obsidian up to level 5 already. Closely followed by the Life and Fire summoner that are both on level 3! It was a goal of mine to level Tarsa to level 5 as soon as possible but then the new reward summoners came along, which changed my strategy going forward. Here, we are currently trying to obtain as many as we can to make at least the same amount of level as the Chaos Legion ones.

My Favorites

Next up I wanted to talk about my favorite cards in my possession. The criteria are as follows. I will be looking at the amount of play time as well as the story behind the card. Furthermore, I build a small dependency on some cards which will be included in this evaluation as well! So let’s start off immediately with my most played cards which would be Queen Mycelia and Djinn Biljka. These two cards are just awesome to play. Not only are they costing us a total of 7 mana but they also complement each other pretty well and with the Obsidian Summoner will get a total of 5 attack. Yes both are very slow in general but this is something to set off by the other cards on the team.

Another very heavily played combination of mine is the Tenyii Striker with the radiated Brute combined with Uraeus! These three cards are basically covering the whole field. Pair them with a solid tank and you can eradicate your opponent’s team in a few turns. With the sneak and reach abilities those cards are making a dumb amount of damage and are boosted by the Tarsa summoner on top! In total they are capable of dealing 11 damage per turn!

My Treasures

Moving away from my favorites and towards my treasures! Here I will present you my most valuable cards. This does not mean that they have to be necessary my most expensive ones but the ones I will probably never sell while I am playing this game. Most of the time those are the cards with an emotional bond which I really like to play with as well! First up most be Djinn Chwala! This card was my first reward card and she won me a lot of battles afterwards! Due to her Thorns ability I was able to deal some great damage and had a lot of fun with this card!

Furthermore, we have chaos Dragon that I was able to pull in a pack not a long time ago. Since then this card was always a part of my team whenever I was playing the dragon Splinter! Not only that but this card is also probably one of the more expensive cards in my current deck. With its Scatter shot ability and 3 magic attack, this card is definitely a card I would not like to sell anytime soon.

Last but not least, we have a card that I would not be able to sell anyways but is a big contribution to my success. Not only does this card contribute to a big portion of my Collection Power but she is also the card that I got from my very first Gladius pack! Tatiana Blayde was part of my path ever since and I am enjoying playing her every time I am getting the chance! Not only that but one of my recent posts was dedicated to just her and her amazing skills!
