Splinterlands - Season Rewards - Upcoming Change Of Strategy

Once again we managed to go trough a season of Splinterlands and let me tell you: It is not getting easier to get these rewards! With the latest SPS change, it is now even harder to get a good amount of rewards for mortal people and apparently I am not the only one who is currently struggling with this new system. Nevertheless, I think I was able to pick up some great rewards on the way which should serve as a motivation for everyone else who is struggling at the moment: There are ways to battle this struggle and the rewards should be motivation enough to do so! Season Rewards & How It’s Going

Now let’s talk about how my season had been progressing. I must admit that I am not having the same win rate as I used to have. There might be several reason for it but I think that one of them is that my strategies are a little too one dimensional. I used to put a lot of faith into my magic attackers but the longer you play the more I realize that this strategy is very nice to counter. Therefore, I am planning to re-teach myself some other strategies that will have Speed and health as the main pillars. I am definitely planning on not doing as well for the next few seasons but I am hoping to go out even stronger like this.

As for the rewards that I managed to receive: They were pretty good. In terms of Collection Power I would have gotten some pretty nice additions in the form of 2 golden Fungus Flingers and one legendary Ferexian Hero. Unfortunately, Collection Power is worth almost nothing nowadays which is why we need to focus on the actual cards. I must say that the card quality is still pretty good. There was not a single card in there that I would not use and the legendary card is definitely a nice addition, also with the thought in mind of moving away from Magic attackers.

Furthermore, we were able to get some good amounts of Potions. To be honest, I am currently not a fan of those since I am having an abundance sitting in my account. I am just not buying as many packs at the moment which is why these potions are continuing to stack up. Oh well, better have them rather than not have them I would say, but I really wouldn’t mind getting more cards or SPS instead of the potions.

Speaking of SPS, we managed to get a very nice amount in the season rewards as well! Around 20 SPS are now staked away, helping us to get more staked SPS and therefore increase our reward point distribution. This will be definitely a way to go forward in order to catch up these reward points dilemma that I mentioned in one of my previous posts.

Strategy Going Forward

As for the strategy going forward, I think that this next season will be a try out of new strategies. In terms of renting SPS as well as seeing which battle strategy works best for me. I am definitely convinced that my current deck is a very good Silver deck and a bottom end Gold deck with my current results. Nevertheless, I think I have the potential of playing in the Gold Leagues if I chose the correct strategy. In the end, a well-chosen team can make up a few level difference. But like I mentioned in the beginning, I need to diversify my actual tactics within a battle and start to look into other battling styles.

I will try to keep you updated on the progress and maybe new players can use this as a blue-print for their journey. I am definitely excited on the future in this game as well as in the crypto market! While many probably are disregarding this game because it is already a little bit older, I think that this game has a lot of potential going forward. Especially with the amount of development going on, I definitely think that this game has the potential of being one of the benefactors in the next bull run, whenever it might be.

Conclusion

With all of that said, I am very curious to see how I will be doing over the next few months. I am definitely planning on continuing to document my journey and keep everyone in the loop whoever wants to be in the loop!
