Facing Legends of the Deep | Curious Battles 12#

From Splinterlands (Oshannus), (Baakjiraa)
Greetings, this is the twelfth installment of this small series of posts entitled "Curious Battles", this time it is a confrontation with 17 mana and a couple of interesting conditions.
However, what is really striking is the enemy combo, where two legendaries are present, excellent for fighting magic offensives. However, this time they were not so strong because of the physical offensive I chose.

From Splinterlands Lore (Oshannus), (Baakjiraa)
The tank in my defensive line is the classic magma golem that since the Untamed edition has been quite popular because of its "shield" ability, which helps it resist physical attacks. That ability didn't shine as much this time around because of the aforementioned magic orientation, however its life points gave the offensive line time to take advantage.

In second place I placed a monster from the Chaos Legion edition, one that requires little mana, excellent considering the scarce 17 points available. I placed it with the intention of being a secondary tank.

In third place the kobold miner appears, asking for only 2 mana and with his boosted attack helped a lot to overthrow the enemies, thanks to his "sneak" ability.

"Serpetine Spy" proved to be vital, as the second enemy monster, that Poseidon 2.0, had excellent speed points, so it dodged quite a few attacks, however, as the spy was not as affected by the speed reduction suffered, it was able to hit several attacks.

The legendary whale "Baakjira" reduced the speed of my monsters, so there could have been a scenario in which I could not hit the oshannus enough and it would have won by dodging, due to its great speed.

The complete alineation was:

Curious fact:
Oshannus was an extremely expensive card in its beginnings, it was used a lot when combined with Alric (summoner that provides +1 magic damage), creating quite strong combos. However, when the Obsidian summoner appeared (Chaos Legion), the demand for this card was quite affected, this added to other market variables made the price drop quite a lot. Even so, it is still a good card to build magic combos.

Oshannos is great stats for the mana. Against melee Lobstradamus is a absolute beast!
