Opportunists and gladiators! | Curious Battles 62#
What's up? Today I come with another curious battle to share, this time one of those that take place between clans, the classic brawls. For this occasion I face for the first time in this type of battles against the summoner known as "Pembrook Nymph", in a battle where opportunism and gladiators abounded.
From Splinterlands and edited with CANVA
A shark of terrifying aspect and the classic dragon knight, protagonist of many victories of my team, were in the front measuring strength. One with his void and good defense, the other with great speed and proving to be a skillful wall for his team.
The summoners presented very different abilities, for my part I gave flying to all the creatures present in my lineup. On the other side, a life increase and the possibility (taken advantage of), to place one more gladiator, were the abilities present.
Second position, a titan and a gladiator faced each other. In my team the armored Carnage Titan with double attack and Reach was hitting hard, while in the opposing team, Beletor was not far behind, eager to feed his thirst for blood.
Shortly after the shark's fall, Beletor was left in front, but not helpless as he was dishing out damage in quantity. However, by round 3 he fell to Djinn Oshannus.
In the third position comes Isgald, an opportunist that I have talked about before for his great performance in battle. He was at level 2 and just like DeepLurker, they were focused on Alfredo, to the point where they almost knocked him down, however, he managed to dodge a couple of attacks.
In my team, the mythical Djinn Oshannus appeared to deal magic damage and cover the front if necessary, as his health points are not at all underestimable.
For the fourth position, the ghost of the captain returns. His slowness is remarkable, but that doesn't mean he didn't shine, as his damage was key to the victory. He managed to apply his debuff a couple of times but it was no big deal in the absence of healers and monsters capable of healing in the opposing team.
Deeplurker again? Well yes, this stalker is and will be in many battles for a while, as his skill, damage and life are not at all negligible, so much so that he almost managed, along with Isgald, to finish off Alfredo.
By the end of the enemy strategy, Venari Wavesmith and Djinn Oshannus were attentive to support with magic damage and defense. The fact that Wavesmith was there, doubled the armor of the whole team (they already had 2 points for the battle condition). This particularity was excellent to resist the earthquake a little more, but did not overcome the flying in my team.
Alfredo and Fire Splitter were the ones who at the end of my lineup supported as archers. Alfredo had a masterful performance, as he dodged a lot, did a lot of damage and even managed to feed 1 charge of his bloodlust.

Extra Curious facts:
Way back when I was playing League of Legends, one of the most popular, addictive games with the most toxic community in the history of online gaming, I met a champion very similar to the summoner my opponent used in this battle. Her name is "Nami, the Tidal Summoner".
