Poison, thorns, knock out and scavengers! | Curious Battles 64#
Poison, thorns, magic reflex and even Knock Out, this was definitely a battle full of interesting factors, although in the end it resulted in a confrontation between scavengers that culminated in a double technical Knock Out by poison.

In the first position, a fantasy steed and a mythical terrifying monster face each other, both with "thorns" as a skill and exposed to the poison of the terrain due to the battle condition. Although the unicorn has no such ability of its own, Mylor granted it to it.
That summoner I rented, as it is quite expensive in terms of a possible purchase. The steed had the disadvantage in life because of the enemy summoner, Thaddius, however, it had the advantage in speed and damage. On the first turn Cursed Wendiku, Silent Sha-Vi, Venari BoneSmith and Katrelba Gobson fell to poison, giving plenty of food to the scavengers, but things were still pretty even in terms of chances.
In the second position, a tank, steady as a rock for his skill, was on rival ground, the legendary Harklaw, the one with the gargoyle-like appearance. For my part, it was Gelatinous Cube who covered that position as a secondary tank, who was the one who was face to face with Riftwing, in what was a battle of resistance to poison between scavengers that ended in a draw.
Katrelba Gobson was one of the pillars of my strategy at the beginning, as I wanted her bloodlust to keep her on her feet despite the poison, however things went very wrong as she missed a key hit at the beginning, against Silent Sha-Vi, this condemned her to be exposed to the mortal damage of the poison and not resist it, as her life was reduced by 1 point by Thaddius.
My rival chose Riftwing, this carrion-loving vampire bat that like Gelatinous Cube, was benefiting until the end of the deaths that occurred on the battlefield, increasing one point of life per fall and becoming more resistant in the process, however, at the end of it all the poison was superior to them.
For fourth place, this tribal javelin thrower is back in the game as I chose her to support my team's offense. She was quite useful but, by round 3, she fell to the poison.
On the opposing team, a life stealer named Venari Bonesmith was the card of choice. This little mage was quite good as an option to try to cope with the poison, but he was badly damaged by the battle condition that gave magic reflex to all creatures and the void of the popular steed, which ended up condemning him in the first round due to the inability to resist the poison.
At the end of the strategy was Dhampir Stalker and Silent Sha-Vi, the first, powerful archer, resisted enough to fulminate Unicorn Mustang with an accurate attack of 3 damage, the second, snake known for its sneak, was able to dodge a key blow that condemned my strategy, by Katrelba Gobson, although he fell soon by the poison next to that gladiator.
In my field two mages were present, Goblin Psychic that gave enough life to Gelatinous Cube so that this was not a defeat and the second one, Prismatic Energy, contributed a little in the attack, although not much because of its little magic power.

Extra Curious facts:
In the second round things were already looking bad, but by the 4th round it was clear how everything would come down to a battle of resistance that would end in the classic dilemma of the unstoppable force against the immovable object, as Superman would say, both give in.
