20k HIVE Power by the end of September? (Week 37, 2022)
This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLTR form. The table has only some information, so if you want details, they can be found in the post.

This week I changed my approach regarding the accumulation of HIVE (Power). I gave up on the idea we will see any major pullback on the price of HIVE and started buying small amounts of HIVE with HBD every once in a while.
We also had a very important clarification during the Hive core development presentation at Hivefest, from where we found out that the cost of Custom Jsons in Resource Credits will increase significantly after HF26, which makes HP more valuable after that, and thus this goal an even higher priority for me if that's possible.
Let's see what changed since last week.
HIVE Power Goal
I added 274 HP this week, which is pretty good. That brings my total HP above 19k. I'm pushing myself on a mini-goal to reach 20k by the end of September. Let's see if I'll do that.
HBD Goal
I stopped this goal in favor of HIVE Power. Initially, the goal was to reach 5000 HBD in savings by the year-end, starting from almost nothing.
LEO Staked
This week I only added 279 LEO to my stake. That's 2729 LEO more than when I started tracking this goal, 13 weeks ago.
112 LEO per week are currently needed to complete this goal by the year-end. I might increase this target if I reach it too soon. We'll see when we get there.
Splintershards (SPS) Staked Goal - Completed
The SPS staking goal is COMPLETED!
However, the new SPS rewards from ranked battles come in a staked form and will keep increasing the stake.
Announcements from the team made me realize the more SPS the better, even above my goal. So I stopped using it to buy CL cards.
I won't stake it though (for now). Besides what comes staked from the gameplay, SPS goes to the diesel pools.

Social Targets
I started the week with 9850 comments.
Increased target: 10k->12k comments by the year-end.
The 10K target for replies is COMPLETED and I won't increase it.
I have currently made 9993 comments, which means 143 comments this week. This is a little better than the average I need to complete this goal. Hopefully, I can keep up this rhythm going forward.
With the new comments target, and 15 weeks left in 2022, I need an average of 134 comments per week to reach the goal.

with fiat or HBD ?
I stopped using fiat to buy crypto because I hate answering their questionnaires when you try to move funds off CEXs (Binance). So, last week it was with HBD. Other times I use something else.

I had been waiting for a pullback for a long time. In the meantime, I didn't buy (enough) at better prices thinking it will come.
When I grow up, I wanna reach that social target! lol
I'm on the road to 500 comments in a month which is about 119 per week and it's a struggle!
But I'm pushing myself so I can get in the habit, or at least "die trying" ;)
Any recommendations, Sensei? 😋

My average was about the same, around 120 comments per week. What helped me improve it a bit is a couple of comments and replies here and there on Threads.

Damn! Now I want to add few of those tasks in my daily watchlist. Although, I am not sure I would be able to sustain them but this sort of posts does helps to go deep into long term vision. I do really want to achieve few of the tasks which you are chasing. One of them is maxing CL set. Although, it would be a very long journey for me. But it's gonna be worth it. And damn those engagement, you are amazing dude. Loved the numbers.

I didn't it would be so hard either. But of course, since the goal was made both SPS and DEC crashed with the market (and DEC after the airdrop ended too).
It isn't that hard (although not easy either). Most of the engagement comes from answering comments on my posts. I do need to comment on other posts and go to Threads to increase the average, but it still is doable without being one of the top commenters out there.
Will keep that in mind 🙂
tomorrow the presale starts of Tower Defense, let's see where the price of DEC/SPS goes this time.

Hmm, how much faster do you think it will take to drain an account's RCs?
For example I have a gaming alt that only has 90ish HP.
Right now that is totally fine for all the automated services like splex, but do you think that won't be enough going forward?
The same question needs to be answered for Threads power users who only have the bare minimum HP on their account.

MUCH FASTER, from the way Blocktrades phrased it. Costs for custom jsons didn't account for the operation that checks if the account which broadcast the operation has the authority to do it. And that is a costly operation, Blocktrades said, much more costly than broadcasting the custom json itself. So I expect these costs will grow significantly compared to today.
The good news about SPLEX in particular is that it became better at managing RCs, so their optimizations might counteract the raises in costs.
The other good news is that you won't need to delegate HP, delegating RCs will be enough for Splex (so you can do it even from your posting account - delegate RCs to the Splex account and leave the HP to your posting/curating/governance account).
Threads shouldn't be affected, because it uses comments. Although the costs of many operations will be updated, but if anything, the cost of short comments should go down.
134 comments a week isn't bad and it's about 20 comments a day. So that should be doable. As for the Hive goal, I think you may need to buy Hive to get that far. There is around 2 weeks left so it will require around 500 HP a week for you.

Well... I'm already there, lol! Price drop helped me make up my mind.
I think you are right, Adrian, about Hive. I really don't see it going much lower. I believe it will hold relatively steady until the bull returns. (Barring of course any temporary action by the Korean market)
