First Week of Summer, Harder to Stay Consistent? * Hive Goals, Week 22, 2022
Summer enters the scene in full force in our extended family. I'm not talking about heat and sun, although they come in the same package with something else.
June is also the birthday of quite a few members of our extended family. I just came home from such a birthday party.
I didn't have time to write my post before we went to the countryside, as we say joking about the nice place where we went and where these relatives live close to the bank of the Danube.
I'd rather cut to the chase of this post because I am tired and there are quite a few numbers to deal with.
HIVE Power and HBD Goals
I'm waiting for the locking period on my rewards on PolyCub to start expiring so I can add more funds to my pHBD-USDC position.
I mentioned last week that I'll be crossing the 16000 HP this week and I did it, which was practically a sure thing.
Something else that will happen next week will be the payment of yet another interest on HBD savings.
I still don't like to see every week the unsatisfactory progress for the HIVE and HBD goals, but so far that's how things are.
Splintershards (SPS) Staked Goal
It's been a while since I staked 2000 SPS in a week. I did it this week. I really don't want to have this goal remaining after the airdrop is over.

I started the week with 8062 comments and 8330 replies.
And now I am at 8206 comments and 8502 replies. They are both above my targets of 81 comments and 76 replies weekly to reach 10k of each by the year's end, which is good!

They literally have attempeted my murder and are trying to kill me with V2K and RNM. Five years this has been happening to me, it started here, around people that are still here. Homeland security has done nothing at all, they are not here to protect us. Dont we pay them to stop shit like this? The NSA, CIA, FBI, Police and our Government has done nothing. Just like they did with the Havana Syndrome, nothing. Patriot Act my ass. The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. All sets have great cards. And it's always best to upgrade them while there are still packs to sell because afterward price rises.

It was a weekend and those days are perfect for taking some free time and spending it with family and friends... So, you did it well that you used them wisely!
I'm also slacking with my HIVE goal, but as time passes by, the curation rewards should go up, and we should see a snowball effect...

Yeah, it was a nice relaxed day, although a bit too hot for my taste.
As for the HIVE goal, you are doing better than I am, and you have more HE tokens to push it through most likely. But there is still time. When I'll complete the SPS goal and when the CL maxing (almost) complete, surging some funds from Splinterlands for the HIVE goal will help.

SPS price is too low to be worth selling it for anything outside the Splinterlands economy these days.
I would like to share your optimism regarding the SPS price in the future, but I have a different opinion regarding that... There are a lot of tokens yet to be minted and the price growth isn't too certain... At least, not from my point of view...
Anyways, I'm exchanging them for DEC tokens and putting them back in the hive-dec pool to get more SPS tokens... I suppose that I'm playing a "risk-off" play in this case...
Not as many as you think. The major printing phase ends in less than 2 months with the airdrop. Nothing else will compare, not in the high amount in a short period of time.
And right after comes in the Riftwatchers which will be purchasable with SPS only (+VOUCHERs. to some extent).
But we will see how the price will evolve.
Isn't a max supply of the SPS tokens 3B? I do get the Riftwatchers and possible SPS pump... the thing that I'm a bit afraid of is that we already have too many "game tokens" and it's harder and harder to keep people "incentivized "...
The perfect example is validator nodes... I would like to be wrong, but many things are in the air for a relatively long time... too many teasers... (the land was promised to August 2021, if I'm not wrong)...
Btw... just to clarify... I have all possible assets in the game, but I like to revise things from time to time... ;)
Yes, but most of it will be issued over a period of 65 months. The airdrop and the private sale were dropped much quicker, even if they accounted for only 20%. And before there were any major use cases for SPS. Plus we are in a bear market, can you see Splinterlands with land and its own DAO and whatever else comes out in between when the bull market starts and think SPS won't pump with the rest of the market?
I am not pleased about the land situation either. Looks like everyone gets incentives, land claims owners after the airdrop is over will have none, after waiting for so long.
I see a game that has a lot of different tokens that have to have some backed up value to remain valuable itself... Also, they are "interconnected" with each other... Now, imagine that we have 1 token "to rule them all" inside SPlinterlands... I wouldn't have doubts about its value...
Also, many new games are being developed for the blockchains and I saw some very nice... The competition will be fierce and I hope that Splinterlands will keep pace with them...
Anyways, fingers crossed that we see some huge additions this year... Waiting for a bull market isn't an option from my point of view as we could wait for that a year or more...

Some very good points.
I saw some interesting games being developed too. The biggest issue will be having functional, sustainable game economies.
I wasn't saying we should wait for the bull market either. After my SPS and CL goals are completed, I'm back at taking something out from the ecosystem. Although that would have been better during the bull market. I still regret I didn't take more out when Splinterlands exploded.

Oh, it's very hot in my part of the world. We had a little shower of rain the other day and I was like oh the heat is finally gone, only to wake the next day to a more sunny and irritating weather lol.
Luckily not that hot for us yet, but in a month or two we won't know where to hide and ACs will work extra time.

Yeaj, our electricity bills increase during this time lol I don't really like the weather, but that's nature.
On this side of the planet we've just gone into winter and I'm finding it just as hard to stay consistent with my posting.
Just gotta knuckle down and keep grinding!

Actually, I wish it was winter. I find it easier to stay consistent when it's colder. And I don't particularly like AC pushing cold air in my back so I only use it if and when I need to.

That's amazing progress! It's looking like you're hitting your goals, or most of them.
Me, I'm just trying to get back to 7,5k HP since I had to do a power down a few months ago that left me with less than half of that. But coming back nicely now.
Personally, I'm more focused on my Listnerds staking at the moment, so once the little unstaking I've done comes in, I can buy more Hive to build back what I took out.

Haha, yeah it does. I was stupid and never wrote down when I started unstaking, only later on I did. So I guesstimated, and guessed wrong, so now I have been waiting longer than expected. But to my surprise it is starting to trickle in since today, and every day from now on. Which is something to look forward to. A little bit like Christmas in June hehe.
