My Hive Goals After a Tiring Week (34, 2022)
This was a tiring week for me in real life, which meant I didn't focus as well as I normally do on crypto activities, particularly Hive.
Despite that, I kept showing up doing (most of) my normal activities, but perhaps some of them at a lower potential or less frequently (especially defi-related activities).
Even my focus on Splinterlands stuff suffered to some degree.
Hopefully next week I'll recover both my focus and my general pace of doing my crypto-related tasks.
Let's see where my Hive goals stand at the end of the week.
HIVE Power Goal
I added 180 HP this month, 20 less than last week.
But I passed the 18k HP mark, which is nice. However, 6874 HP is still needed by the year-end.
LEO Staked
This week I added 274 LEO to my stake. The rest I kept liquid to add next week, to not distort the weekly average needed too much. That's 2243 LEO more than when I started tracking this goal, 10 weeks ago.
120 LEO per week are currently needed to complete this goal by the year-end, but the average will probably go up again as I won't buy more LEO in the immediate future.
Splintershards (SPS) Staked Goal - Completed
The SPS staking goal is COMPLETED!
However, the new ranked battles SPS rewards which come in a staked form will keep being added to the stake.
Announcements from the team made me realize the more SPS the better, even above my goal. So I stopped using it to buy CL cards.
I won't stake it though (for now) besides what comes staked from the gameplay, it's in the diesel pools.

Exactly half of my CL cards maxed or almost maxed (including reward cards).
I'm still opening packs as I earn more alchemy and legendary potions. I opened 60+ packs this week, which is a pretty large number.
However, I only consider maxed one card this week: the epic Insidious Warlock.

Social Targets
I started the week with 9491 comments and 9952 replies.
And now I am at 9618 comments and 10076 replies. Which means the 10k target for replies until the year-end has been ACHIEVED already! I won't increase the goal, because it's not a target that depends on me to achieve and I mostly tracked it as a secondary target next to my comments goal. Plus, the increased number of auto-replies makes the number of replies quite irrelevant.
One more to go, for comments, which is very close to being achieved relatively soon.

Nice one on your goals despite some challenges. What is the benefit of having maxxed cards?
Better chances to win against other opponents, plus a maxed card has a 5% collection power bonus (although I don't need that).
I guess it is most useful if you play in the top league.

I will probably grow the limit for the comments goal, once I reach it. Doesn't make much sense to grow it for replies, since they are not under my control, and with the increased number of bot replies, it is less relevant.
Are you planning to purchase the remaining to hit the goal before year end?
If you are talking about HP, I do plan to buy more, when I feel the price is right, and I also have more HIVE in liquidity pools, which will help at the end, when I draw the line. Whatever I'll need then I'll use from liquidity pools and buy.
Slowly but surely 🙂 congrats on the SPS competition. Are you going to exceed or selling the excess for something else?
I've completed the SPS goal a while ago. This week I completed the replies goal (from the social targets at the end). About SPS, I'll keep amassing them, but I don't stake more for now (other than what comes staked from ranked battles). I keep them in diesel pools.

Thanks, John! I hope the distractions and time required on RL problems/events will be less intense next week so I can better focus on my Hive/crypto activities.

Thanks. Consistency is really important, especially when you're challenged and would rather skip some tasks.
With SPS are you keeping some liquid for riftwatchers coming release.
Still your making some progress on your goals and will be close at closing end of the year :)

Yes, I have some liquid SPS in diesel pools, but I don't intend to power down SPS, so this goal is secured.

Nice progress on your goals and congratulations on getting the replies over 10k. It looks like getting your comments there shouldn't be an issue as you added over 100 comments over the past week.
