I'm guessing most people used funds from other places in crypto. I also reinvest a lot in Splinterlands, rather than buying with fresh money. But that's why they need new players too.

Yeah, that's true, but it was also bringing in money into the game. I think they'll attract players in a few months time, because bull market onboards people, so the issue they might prospectively face is retaining them.

Let's hope they have the iPhone app and the Campaign mode ready by then, and that the Campaign mode will be enough to get many new players hooked.
