SplinterGlossary: Land Worker, Power Source, Food, Production Points and More

avatar

This is the weekly update on the progress of SplinterGlossary.

What Is SplinterGlossary?

SplinterGlossary is that section of LeoGlossary that defines a glossary of inter-linked terms and definitions for Splinterlands and other gaming terms. LeoGlossary is focused on financial, general crypto, but also including Hive and Leofinance terms and definitions, banking terms, insurance terms, and a series of specific lists.

Numbers of the Week

New definitions: 5

Additional updated definitions/lists/indexes: 12

Some Details

I thought it was a good idea to have a distinct definition of Land Worker, as one of the starting points for understanding the Splinterlands Land Expansion.

From there a number of definitions came up, like:

I used almost entirely the text from the whitepaper in the 3 definitions listed above (with the source linked at the bottom). There is a significant number of terms I linked on each page, which may provide a different way to parse the information than in the whitepaper once everything is put together (and even now because I try to add definitions with logical connections in the same batch).

Another definition I added and which will most likely be referred to a lot is the one for Production Points.

Besides that, I made small updates to a number of pages. For example, I added the reference to the Runi Bonuses definition to the Runicore definition.

Final Words

Remember that the success or not of this project depends a lot on the contribution of others. When you use terms defined in SplinterGlossary in your Splinterlands/gaming posts, it would be great if you'd link them to those definition posts.

Also, if you notice something wrong with any defined terms, please let me know in these weekly updates.

Thanks for the updates and it looks like the land is going along well. I wonder if a lot of things will change as it gets released.

Yep, Splinterlands players who write content are one of the focuses of SplinterGlossary.
