SplinterGlossary: More Than Half of the Definitions Have Updated Links
This is the weekly update on the progress of SplinterGlossary.
What Is SplinterGlossary?
SplinterGlossary is that section of LeoGlossary that defines a glossary of inter-linked terms and definitions for Splinterlands. LeoGlossary is focused on financial, general crypto, but also including Hive and Leofinance terms and definitions, banking terms, insurance terms, and a series of specific lists.
Numbers of the Week
This week I added 1 term to the glossary, so we are currently at 320 terms and 11 lists.
Some Details
Looks like the World Cup games schedule is working very well hand-in-hand with my work on SplinterGlossary.
A little break here, a little break there, what's the easiest thing that I can squeeze in? Some work on SplinterGlossary.
Especially when we are talking about updating links for older definitions. That's mostly tedious work but doesn't require much brain power.
That's how, little by little during this WC week, I went through definitions from the letter L all the way to the letter P, which I believe is the best progress I've had on them between updates since I started.
Besides that, I only added one new definition, which is mostly a helper definition for anyone writing about Splinterlands gameplay:
That can be particularly useful when you want to refer to the healing abilities in general, without specifying one of them. Inside the definition, there are links toward all 3 healing abilities currently existent in the game and defined in SpliterGlossary.
Plans for Next Week
The focus remains on adding links to older definitions (and updating them where needed).
Final Words
Remember that the success or not of this project depends a lot on the contribution of others. When you use terms defined in SplinterGlossary in your Splinterlands/gaming posts, it would be great if you'd link them to those definition posts.

Slowly but surely. Are you almost done with Splinterlands?
Nope. The land part needs a lot of work, mostly after they start releasing it. And there's always something new to add.
Now that you mentioned healing abilities, maybe adding a page for each focus quest could also help. I am not sure how many people mention what their daily focus is though.

I have the abilities-based focuses listed on the daily focus definition. Do you think it would be helpful to create separate definitions for each of them? I could add it as a separate list, at least. Easier to see it, I suppose.
I really appreciate what your doing. I have been linking to SplinterGlossary with every SL post I make. It's now part of my post-finishing routine(add tags, corrections, justify, etc.). Easy to do and doesn't take too much time!
