Land Gameplay Finally Released to the Public!

After being on the Mavericks QA server for a while, two public delays in releasing it during the recent months, and over 3 years since the initial presale, on the regular maintenance window from Tuesday, Land 1.5 (the first playable phase of the Land expansion) was added to Splinterlands, without any significant glitch. This is the official announcement. This has repeatedly been referred to by the team and management as the single biggest undertaking and update in the history of Splinterlands, unlike anything else they've done before.

Rebellion Comes Out Next Week!

Exactly one week after Land gameplay has been released, another major update follows. The new Rebellion main edition of cards is launched on Tuesday, December 5th. Every edition comes with something new, but unlike previous editions, Rebellion introduces major changes to the main gameplay of the game via the Summoner Tactics mechanic which some of the new summoners will feature. Check out all the novelties that Rebellion brings.

Since the previous weekend, Rebellion cards have been added to the Mavs test server, for those interested to have a preview of them before they are released and report any overpowered stats or abilities, so they can be nerfed before launch. @flauwy published a post with all cards in the Rebellion edition at max level, as he did for Chaos Legion too.

With the new edition coming in, Brawl frays for guilds play will be updated concomitantly.

Splinterlands Town Hall Discussed Both Land and Rebellion

This week's town hall discussed primarily the Land 1.5 release that was coming the following day, but also Rebellion. It is probably still relevant to listen to it if you didn't.

The decision was made to release the Land 2.0 whitepaper draft as a series of posts. The first one should come on Monday, before the town hall:

This is a major milestone for Goals players, the start of being rewarded for playing the game.

GLS: Proposal for Updating Liquidity Providers Rewards Distribution

Passive investors are not forgotten for GLS either and looks like steps are being taken to roll out LP rewards in the near future. For now, a proposal to see how to redistribute these rewards.

New Hive Town Hall Meeting

Another monthly Hive town hall meeting had on the agenda important topics such as the reward pool, downvotes, and witness activity. I didn't have time to listen to it, but I will. I imagine there might have been some controversies over there on such loaded topics. 😀

You don't like the speed or the quality at which certain games are developed? Develop your own and see how easy or difficult it is! At least that's how I understand the theme of the new game from the PeakD team: "You must recruit and nurture a team, equip them properly, build your reputation, and secure a steady stream of $PXL income to continue to grow.". Speaking of PeakD, they also published an update for their Open projects.

INLEO

The INLEO team probably reached a level of desired stability and polish with some of their new features because they started to present them publicly in posts. Of course, the first place to find out about new features is usually the AMA or Threads by following Khal, not posts. But posts can present information in a more organized manner.

We've seen this week their introduction of bookmarks and lists. Also, a new Zealy campaign started, with huge prizes. Check it out!

Say Goodbye to St**mpress (Exxp)!

The Exxp Wordpress plugin will be discontinued, and from the same announcement, we find out that the related @steempress witness account that was a consensus witness started as a duo by @howo and @fredrikaa has been shut down. @howo will continue as a solo witness.

Waivio Added Custom Domains for Social.Gifts Websites

E-commerce is a huge market. Even if Waivio only deals with the affiliate side of e-commerce, that's still a huge market. And that's why I follow with interest updates to their services. That's one clear direction that can help catapult Hive into the spotlight. Here's the update mentioned in the title.

I like things simple. If it's a gift, don't make me go through hoops to get it. That's why I like the small daily gifts from Holozing, just for logging in. I log in anyway, as probably most people who don't use bots to claim the rewards.

We also learned more about the capture logic in the game. Anyone who appreciates this kind of detail is a top gamer (or is looking for loopholes, lol).
