New Player Journey - Splinterlands - Episode 02

Hi all,

so this is a recap of the last week.

What I did in the past week:

I tried to complete at least one time the daily reward from the frontier mode. Unfortunately I couldn't play every day, so I could not max out the daily rewards every day. Nevertheless I think I got pretty lucky, because I got the following two legendary cards.

I also have joined a guild and participated in my first guild brawl. I had problems filling out all matches, because I dont have a lot of cards, so I have auto lost a few matches by default.

After maxing out the daily wins for frontier, I also tried to win some matches for modern, but I have lost like 10 games or so in a row, because I got no cards. I have also dropped from silver 3 again to bronze 1, because I think a lot of people pushed for the end of saison rewards. So I play against stronger oponnents.

Challenges:

Since I joined a guild, I also participated in the guild brawl and obviously I want to earn as most wins as possible for my guild. But I could not fill out all battles, as I am short on cards.

The second challenge this week I had was reaching the daily wins, because I was in Silver 3 and I had like a 20 game loosing streak, before I started winning again. I have also leveled up a few units to level 2, but my Archons are all level 1, so I cant benefit from having higher level cards.

Next steps:

I will try to do the following the next week:

• max out daily wins for frontier mode again
• participate in guild brawl (to get merits and buy packs)
• try to level up my archons to play higher level cards
• calculate if I can rent some cards for modern mode

Lessons leanerd:

This week I have learned, by reaching nearly the end of the season, there are more people playing actively and they are also stronger as in the beginning of a season, so maybe I have to pick the times I play to have a better placement in the ranking and also get some rewards.

To get the maximum out of the guild brawl I also need to aquire some modern cards. Either via renting or buying packs with glint/merits.
