A POEM ABOUT HOW I GOT INTO SPLINTERLANDS
Writing has always been something that I've enjoyed.. But I am only ever inspired to write a poem when I am madly in love! ♥️
Splinterlands.. You have got me hooked! Love you more than anything and always will! Without further ado here is how I arrived here in the Splinterverse.
How I arrived in Splinterlands
I started researching crypto just to make money,
I learned a lot, saw some gains growing like a tree,
I stashed my keys, got some hardware put it all away,
Started a discord with some friends sharing day to day,
I had a friend who texted me, put paper in TLM,
Who would know that message would transform my life within,
So that was when I found my first crypto game to play,
Joined a gaming discord learned from what they had to say,
My friend had told me I had found the greatest game on earth,
What I didn’t realize was what those words were worth,
He said this game has airdrops and is a lot of fun,
I got a spellbook played the game, went on a winning run,
I made some friends, through the game, they are all so great,
I could name a lot of them as my very own best mate,
Splinterlands I soon would see could bring some profit home,
I played and played saved up my assets, then i wrote this poem,
I searched on twitch found a stream and her name was Clove,
It was the coolest thing I’d seen, this woman didn’t know,
That with her words and friendly vibe I had been inspired,
To follow down this path of streaming that I so desired,
Bit by bit i felt the blessings from the people here,
Soon it took away the butterflies and all my fear,
Now I stand with my head up, running with our team,
With them all having my back it’s like living a dream,
With the squad we roll so hard it’s deeper than a valley,
This is the beginning of the story of Gameboy Ali.
I hope you enjoyed the poem as much as I enjoyed writing it. I have never had so much fun within a gaming community! Y'all really are the best!
