Weekly Battle Challenge - Angelic Mandarin 🐸

Angelic Mandarin is one of the low-mana ranged monsters that have several strong attributes that can be used for immense battles. The monster only consumes 3 mana which gives decent advantages in return.

Depending on your battle strategy that varies from one fight to another, you can position Angelic and utilize its strong sides. In several cases, it is seen as a soft-tank last liner with triage (heal) ability and high HPs.

Let's see how I used it in my battle:

That was a battle between Death and Water in which both teams had some strong sides. My team consisted of 3 functional monsters that made 20 mana cap while my rival that 6 monsters contrarily.

In my team set, I prioritized blocking magic attack while the monsters get +1 armor from Kenya Frendul. Torhilo was in the first position to take any type of damage to protect the other monsters.

Following Torhile, I had Feasting Seaweed that is a strong asassin with 4 mana but also too fragile. So, keeping it alive is a must 😉

Lastly, I had Angelic in the third position. The aim of using Angelic Mandarin is to get the ranged and snipe magic attacks on it before the rivals target my fragile asassin or eliminate my strong tank with focused attacks.

In the harmony that my team had, the distribution of attack by rival was perfectly handled. Angelic got all snipe and sneak attacks on it while protecting asassin and helping the tank! As expected, it worked perfectly fine 🔥

The rival, on the other hand, had some key monsters that directly affect the result of the battle. Though the team had huge potential with +1 armor and distributed attack strategies, I could counter-attack easily.

I had a crazy strong team that had 3 monsters which fought against 6 monsters yet won the battle. The strongest side of the team is the obsorvation of damage against different types of attacks.

Angelic got all sneak and snipe attacks and 5 HP +1 armor made it successfully. On the other hand, Torhilo was perfect against melee attacks and the rest of magic attackers were not able to hit Torhilo because of Void ability it had. Meanwhile, Seaweed was fearless! The rival team could not go against my 3 talented guys!

The fragility of my team was too obvious. In the case that I lose my tank, I only got a melee attacker with 2 HP + Ranged attacker that cannot attack in the first position. So, the moment Torhilo was eliminated, I would have lost the battle. Yet, it did not happen 😉

That was an exciting battle while I was watching it. It was not easy to estimate which team would get the battle because the moment Melee attackers start to miss their attacks, that would be terrible for both sides consisting of low HP monsters.

As a result of my "basic" but effective team set up, I got the battle against 6 monsters. Proud to say that I did it ✌🏼
