Weekly Battle Challenge - DRAGONS π
This week, we are going to use Dragons in our battles as the weekly challenge. Dragons are strong monsters & summoners that can directly affect the result of the battle. Drake of Arnak is the Dragon summoner that is given by Splinterlands to be used in the battles. I believe it is the first NFT that make everyone adore Dragons π
There are many dragon monsters that are OP!
However, I'm a big fan of the dragon summoners as they make it possible to combine dragons and the elements at once π₯
These are my favorite Dragon Summoners.
Cheap , Effective and OP!
Let's see how was my battle:
I cared about the previous battles of my rival and I realized that the tank will be Lava with 6 HP. As Lava is strong against melee and ranged attack types, I decided to base my team on Magic attack!
While Magic is the best option, I needed defensive move to secure themagic attackers. Thus, +1 Armor from my summoner is a perfect match!
Considering my plan and 17 mana cap, I designed a team like that:
3 magic attackers + 1 non attacker with 4 HP. The idea is to secure them.
In totam 1+1+1 = 3 Magic Attack Points! Which is pretty low but effective.
So, the team set was based on eliminating the strong tank in 2 rounds (6 Magic attack points) and hunting down the ranged attackers. It worked pretty fine IMHO π₯
It was a different and a bit risky team set.
When Regal Peryton was the first liner, it was a sign of danger as the defensive move by me was distrupted by my rival!
However, 5 Speed points + Flying were great abilities that my monster had. So, evasion was the strategy that I relied on.
2 Strong sides that helped me get the battle:
- The magic attacks to tank in 2 rounds
- Evasion and armor protection of my magic attackers.
Of course the team has several weak sides. As there is an attacker with blast, it is easy to eliminate the protection of 2 monsters at the same time. Besides, 3 melee + 2+1 + 1 ranged attack points are more than enough to wipe my monsters out.
Luckily, the things went smooth as I planned. Yet, any resistance to magic attack or 2 sneak ability monsters would be terrible for me!
As a result, I won the battle.
I can suggest new players to base their teams on Magic attack if their rival always plays the same melee + ranged games frequently.
In their magic battles, it is better to have a relatively safe plan to keep the attack sustainable in rounds.
It was an exciting and interesting battle that can be a good example for newbies. Even in the level 1 cards, you may surprise your rivals π
Please Watch the battle and share your ides. Would you apply a similar strategy against these monsters?

Thanks for sharing! - @lenonmc21
Your format is quite simple and original, but, I would like to see more in detail in the writing how you thought to align your monsters and your battle strategy.
thanks for feedback @lenonmc21 , I'll consider your feedback π
