Weekly Battle Challenge - Tenyii Striker ⚔

Tenyii Striker, one of the best monsters that only consumes 5 mana though it can change the course of the war. When it combines its power with Tarsa, Tenyii is too hard to deal with with additional melee attack power and HP!

I always use Tenyii in my fire battles but leaving Tenyii alone may decrease the effectiveness of your sneak strategy. Thus, Uraeaus + Tenyii can be deadlious! Even if you do not have Tenyii, do not forget to add 1 more monster sneaky ability to destroy the strategy of your rival!

When Tenyii reaches level 4, it gets Dodge ability as well. In that case, you can also strenghten your backline with Tenyii's dodge ability + 7 HP to secure all your ranged attackers and magicians 😉

In this battle, we will examine a level 1 Tenyii for our Fire battle.

Team Set Up.png

I had an interesting battle. I won against Earth team full of magic attackers! It was a crazy different battle that can be a good example for newbies.

Here are the details:

Though ranged attackers cannot be used in the first line, Close Range ability enables Moltem Ash Golem to be the first liner. As I expect my rival to use magic attackers, I needed to have more HP with least mana!

So 6 mana for 10 HP was perfectly good!

While having all damage on Golem, I had to wipe out the rival monsters even before they could attack! So take a look at the backline.

3+3+3 Melee attack consists of second hand, sneak and opportunity abilities. If I were the rival, it would scare me for sure :) Finally, 1 ranged attack with snipe that has some positive effect, as well.

The set up was scaffolded with 6 Hp coming from Radiated Brute, it is the second tank of the team incase of necessity.

Slipspawn with Taunt ability made it harder for my team to eliminate the other monsters. Luckily, Khmer was targeted by Brute and 2 magic attack was reduced from total damage.

Strengths Weaknessses.png

Using a ranged attacker in the first line was a great advantage for my team as it only took 6 mana to get 10 HP which gets 10 magic attack in the first round.

The melee attackers of my team were equiped with different abilities that are killers of the low HP but more Magic power monsters. When they were targeted with the death of Slipspawn, all I needed was luck to target the monsters.

Scattered assasins with sneak, snipe and opportunity attacks were the strongest sides of my team. A ranged attacker with close range ability was an amazing strategy that I'm proud of 😉

The weakness of my team is that the rival team had Taunt ability and Peryton that has 5 speed + Flying ability. It was even likely to miss attacks to Peryton for a whole round because of its evasions capability. So, owning a magic attacker was a must for my team but I had 1 ranged attacker. Rather than the ranged attacker, Flying Imp might be a better option.

Basing the whole team on barely melee attack was a huge risk against Peryton + Taunt ability.

The Battle Results.png

The team had some pros and cons as we discussed. Overall, there was an effective Fire team that was able to win against Earth monsters with magic ability. Though it was a hard battle, the team did its best with distinctive abilities and attributes.

Owning Tenyii was 3 Melee attack & extra protection for my ranged ability and assassin Spy. Good to say that I did not need its HP as the first and second liners did their best to secure the rest.

Watch the battle and share your ideas. Would you use ranged attacker with close range ability for 10 HP against magic attackers? What would fit best to this team set?
