Splinterlands * My trip through Splinterlands, Ep. 1, today Water Quest, Season beginning

Hi gamers and card players. A new season has started and I'm starting in the Novice League. I just tried being lazy last season and hoped for some small but good rewards. It went a bit wrong, but it wasn't too bad either. Then let's get started...

The beginning of the season, at least that's my feeling, is always the most difficult, since there are a lot of players inside who are higher at the end of the season. Today I have the pleasure of playing the Water summoner based on the quest. I chose this summoner throughout all the games because it is simply the most valuable. I only own 2 of them, so it's not hard to choose.

My daily actually went quite lightly today, which means: I actually expected an apocalypse in which I won (almost) no game.
About the data:

I played a total of 11 games to get my daily reward. I hadn't played much 2 weeks before and accordingly the opening games were very disadvantageous for me. During the entire course of the game, I noticed that in some games the opponents or even I myself often dodged the attacks over several rounds, although there was only a 1-point difference in speed. Exactly the same on monsters with the Flight property.
I think if there is only a 1 punt difference between two monsters, dodging 3 times in a row is a bit too much.
At some point, after a few games, I was promoted to the Bronze III League. I am currently still there.

After 11 games, finally:

Let's take a look at my very first game. I lost in this game but it was quite interesting.

I'm the player on the left!

!
I play, from left to right:
Bontus (Summoner) - Sea Monster - Merdaali Guardian - Creeping Ooze - Axemaster
My opponent plays:
Kelya Frendul (Summoner) - Serpent of Eld - Deeplurker - Merdaali Guardian - Scavo Hireling - Feastling Seaweed - Albatross

I picked this match because I found the lineups against each other very interesting.
My basic concept was to put a monster in the front position that has as much HP as possible. My Seamoster has 8 HP. In addition, it does really enormous damage, namely 4. There are quite a lot of such monsters, at least with similar values. The sea monster also has the ability to heal itself once every round.

My goal was to eliminate the opponent's monsters as quickly as possible, meaning those in the front position !

To do this, I placed the Axemaster that does range attacks in my team.

This monster has double attacks. It attacks with 2 damage two- times. Perfect The Axemaster is very agile and is usually the first to attack.

What happened now? My plan didn't seem to be working too badly and the Melee Monster was almost eliminated, but then round after round my attacks from my Axemaster on the monster failed. I was glad if one of my 2 attacks hit. The end of the story was that I had defeat as a result. Sad, but nice match.

After this game, I changed my line-up a little after each new match until I was completely happy and was able to solve my daily.
A monster that I find very useful and like to have on my team is this one:

This monster refreshes the armor of the monster in 1st position every turn and is very useful.
Note: Of course, this only makes sense if the monster in 1st position also has armor, otherwise nothing happens.

That's it from my side, good luck in the game!
