Splinterland Zero Sum

This is my extremely meager collection.

I must say I have become a zero sum player on Splinterlands. I can't even get to be ranked, and that means I can't even get to bronze level. You know I try, I get involved in dozens of battles and win maybe one or two, so eventually I give up and it is another zero sum season.

I know, I have to invest in cards to be able to win, but I remember before when getting at least to bronze level II was fairly easy to do, but things started getting harder and it is frustrating to see twenty or more straight losses. It reminds me of when I used to play ConQuian, which is the most popular card game in this part of Honduras, I used to play for money and I remember once I lost 36 straight games, my head was exploding and I was just waiting for one of the other players to make a joke. Lucky for them I think they saw the mood I was in and not even comments were made.

My splinterland losses on the other hand have no witnesses, but I have seriously thought I have seen my laptop smiling, I have even asked it to do it again. I guess losing makes you see things. Anyway, I will try to get some more cards, as frankly I don't like having to do so much strategic thinking in a game, that is why I quit chess, I was getting so good that to improve I would have had to get books and study and I think that just kills the idea of what a game is, it really becomes work.
