At level 1, it has a speed of 2 with 3 range attack, 2 armor and 4 health points. It also has the Blast ability allowing her to do additional damage to enemies that are adjacent to the enemy she hit.

By the time it reached level 4, it will gain another ability, Forcefield. Forcefield reduce the damage Prismologist took to 1 if it is attack by an enemy with 5 or more power.

At its max level, level 8, Prismologist will have 4 range damage, 2 speed, 2 armor and 5 health and gain the final ability Silence. Silence will reduce all enemy units' magic damage as long as it is more than 1 magic damage.

Next lets take a look at how Prismologist will perform in the various rulesets:

Finally lets take a look at a wild ranked match I had using Prismologist as one of the unit in the setup. The battle restrictions are:
Melee Mayhem plus Lost Magic with a max mana limit of 38. The Video for the Full Battle can be seen here:

TEAM SETUP:

SplinterMana CostPositionReason
General Sloan4SummonerI chose General Sloan as the summoner for this battle because I wanted to use a Life team with Jared Scar. Jared Scar with its Bloodlust ability can turn into a scary monster in a Melee Mayhem ruleset.
Pelacor Conjurer21stPelacor Conjurer is a very good and cheap tank. It can also deflect magic attack back to opponent magic units.
Arkemis the Bear122ndMy real tank hiding in 2nd position. It not only gives everyone in my lineup +2 armor but it also able to halves the damage of enemy unit it hits.
Jared Scar73rdMy damage dealing unit. Jared Scar has a big attack and when it kill an enemy units, it will gain +1 damage, +1 speed, +1 health and +1 armor. Its only problem is it is too vulnerable to be put as a tank but in this Melee Mayhem ruleset, it can be hidden at the back.
Scavo Hireling34thUse for repairing damaged armor that is provided to everyone from Arkemis the Bear.
Prismologist85thMy 2nd damage dealing unit. I wanted to use Prismologist's blast damage to destroy enemy units armor so Jared Scar can get the kill.
Celestial Harpy26thMy last tank. I have only 2 mana left so decided to put Harpy here since it has flight and hopefully can tank against Sneak units for a while.
Total Mana:38

Battle Lineup:

lineup.jpg

My opponent went with a Life splinter as well but has Chaos Knight as the tank while a very heavy ranged lineup at the back. This goes well with General Sloan's +1 Range damage ability.

End of Round 1:

End of Round 1.jpg

Chaos Knight was a tough tank to crack especially if it was given extra armor. I took the entire 1st round just to remove its 5 armor. Meanwhile my small little Pelacor Conjurer wasn't doing too bad too. It managed to dodge a few attacks and survived the round.

End of Round 2:

End of Round 2.jpg

My Pelacor Conjurer managed to dodge one more attack before getting killed. Meanwhile my Prismologist also killed off the enemy Chaos Knight and damage the enemy Venari Crystalsmith. Jared Scar followed up killing off the Crystalsmith and gained +1 attack, speed, armor and health! Perfect!

End of Round 3:

End of Round 3.jpg

The opponent Herbalist was easily taken out by my tank and Prismologist followed up by also eliminating the enemy Truthspeaker. With the Truthspeaker dead, the enemy remaining units lost their armor. At this point it is game over for my opponent.

KEY STRATEGY
My strategy in this match was to keep my hard hitting units alive as long as possible at the back while having decent tank at the front holding the fort.

CONCLUSION ON Prismologist
Prismologist main weakness is its low low health and speed. Because of this, it is very vulnerable to being targeted by enemy Snipe, Opportunity or Sneak units.

Best position to put Prismologist is the 2nd last position with a decent back tank to help against enemy Sneak units.

Prismologist blast is extremely powerful if it can hit right in the middle of your opponent lineup so ruleset like Equal Opportunity and Target Practice are very good for Prismologist. Worse ruleset to use Prismologist is probably Noxious Fumes.

I really like the information you gave about the Prismologist card. This card is very good so I also use this card.

Yes it is a nice card especially if you use with General Sloan which gives it another 1 range damage. It is also one of the more expensive CL epic card to buy. It now cost as much as General Sloan. :P
