Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge! / Earthquake

Greetings play2ern lovers!

It's a real pleasure to be back in the arena for another week to face another challenge proposed for the community, this has been a good season for me, despite the time constraints to maintain the game activity, however, I'm still focused on building my account, so I continue with my regular rentals that allow me to maintain a decent level of competition in bronze and silver league, the leagues in which I keep playing almost all the time.

This week I bring you a battle similar to the one I shared last week in the aspect that it was an epic battle that I ended up winning with the last breath, a single battle unit standing, plus a salo health point was what I clung to victory, I must say that for a moment I thought I would lose it, however, as always I came out the winner of this fight.

The set of rules proposed for this battle, I think it goes beyond our skills, as all own and enemy units will suffer damage from the earthquake, only the flying units will not suffer damage, also reduce the damage units that have shield protection, in this sense I will say that the most important thing both in this and in another set of rules, is that it affects both teams equally.

Generally when I go to a battle with this set of rules to place units that have very high health points, this to counteract the damage caused by the earthquake, then if possible some other unit with the ability to fly.

RULESET: Earthquake

All non-flying units take 2 physical damage at the end of every turn.

Snared units are considered non-flying. Since the damage given is physical, it can be reduced to 1 if the unit has the shield ability.

My summoner

Whenever I start a season I make a selection as my budget allows of a number of cards to keep me between silver and gold league and one of the summoners if not the only one I rent from the water element is ALRIC STORMBRINGER.

I choose this summoner as it gives +1 magic attack to all the cards I choose, as I am a fan of magic attack and the water element is my favorite.

First position (Tank)

Whenever I can play with this element I use this combination, unless there is some rule or mana consumption that merits putting it in second position DJINN OSHANNUS will always be my tank.

Use DJINN OSHANNUS for his attack, life, speed, and abilities which are Empty and Phase, Empty when a magic attack monster attacks this monster reduces a portion of his attack, Phase this ability makes one of my favorite parts of this monster allows rival monsters with magic attack to miss this monster.

Second position

Whenever circumstances allow me and I can use this lethal combination PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS will be behind Oshannus as backup, I hardly lose using these monsters.

Use PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS for its attack, life, speed and ability which is flying which allows you to dodge melee or ranged attacks from monsters that do not have the flying ability, and the other ability is dodge which allows you to evade melee or ranged attacks.

Third position

Use RULER OF THE SEAS because it has very good attack and acceptable speed and two very good abilities which are Explosion and Acceleration, Explosion Reduces a portion of life to the monster that is immediately behind the position of the monster that has been attacked, Acceleration adds +1 speed to all allied monsters.

Fourth position

In the fourth and last position of this battle I summoned the always efficient RIVERBOAT CAPTAIN, its explosion ability is one of the reasons why I like this unit, as well as its magic attack that is boosted by the summoner I use in this battle and that I usually use when I go out to the arena with a water element deck.

Another thing I want to point out is that unlike the previous ones this is a card of my own that I have been gaining and leveling up to take it to level 3, so I would like to keep leveling it up until I get it to max level.

My battle, my victory....

As I mentioned at the beginning it was not an easy battle, it was a battle that was won with the last breath, which makes it even more valuable, b-b-but appreciate and enjoy this epic battle.

You will surely see this deck repeated many times in my battles, obviously for this I invest in rentals, as I can not afford to rent a lot of cards, I manage my budget by renting the cards that I will use in most of the battles.

So, having a reduced budget, my strategy is always to use the best that I have rented that season, combined with my cards that I earn with effort, this makes my cards repeat a lot in the battles, well, this is my strategy as we build our account with a lot of effort.
