Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Building a Splinterlands account

Hello pay2ern lovers!

Building something is something that requires time, effort, discipline, constancy and resources, fundamental ingredients that must be applied if you want to build something, be it a physical building, a university career, a business or even a family; these are principles that must prevail if you want to succeed in what you are trying to build.

The time will depend on how big is what you are trying to build, besides how well you apply the other principles I mentioned; the effort is evidenced in the time you dedicate, the sacrifices you are willing to make, and even the resources you invest in that construction, the discipline you will need to apply and use the available resources and the management of your time; the constancy has to do with not giving up the purpose, to stay focused on that construction without stopping and the resources barca everything you use to achieve that goal.

Splinterlands

To build an account in Splinterlands you need everything mentioned above, and what I share with you are tips that will help you build a powerful account, with or without many financial resources, although I don't have an account that can cover the entire spectrum that the game offers, I'm talking to you from the experience of someone who is in the process of building a good account, after having taken it to zero in 2021, so I know what I'm talking about.

The long term.

Most people who hear about Blockchain, cryptocurrencies or play2ern games automatically think of quick wins, getting rich and exponential growth overnight, you can do it if you invest large amount of money, however, you don't know what is timeframe for ROI.

Everyone who has a considerable time in this virtual world, surely knows that everything here is "slow cooking" although you are always waiting for something to happen that "shoots" your earnings to the moon, so many people have invested in Bitcoin, waiting for the moment when its price reaches $ 500,000, and while that happens we know that you have to have a lot of patience.

Splinterlands is a collectible card play2ern game, with rewards set in different assets, so depending on the league you are playing in a daily chest, or seasonal reward chests may contain cards, SPS, Merits and Potions, assets that can be traded in the game's internal market or in secondary markets, so the "LONG TERM ACCUMULATION" mentality is essential to not give up trying to build a powerful account.

Constant activity

Once you are part of the ecosystem you must maintain a constant activity, playing whenever you can will give you better chances of growing, as you can get more reward chests and you can accumulate more game assets. In my personal case, now I don't have assets that can be exchanged for money, however, I keep accumulating assets every time I participate in a season, and I know that this will be beneficial for the future.

Own cards and rentals

Although the game offers you by way of "loan", cards that you can use to develop your game, it is necessary to have own or rented cards in battles if you intend to access the rewards, this becomes a limiting factor in growing or building an account, so there are two recommendations I have to make.

First of all you can buy some cards that allow you to play in a not so competitive league and in this way you can get rewards to use your own cards, the good news is that you can find quite cheap cards to compete in one of the starting leagues.

The second thing you can do to build your account is to rent assets, such as cards and SPS to play in a higher league, and this is the option that I personally use, if you decide for this option I will tell you that it is not a very expensive option because with 2 or 3 dollars you can rent a competitive deck to play a season in bronze at a good level, in silver at a decent level and also give you a little play in gold.

The marketplace

The look in the market should not be set as "sellers" or hunters of profits, unless you are trying to build your account, the look in the market should be set as "buyers" to try to buy, as the budget allows, the cards that you are using and give you results in the battles.

In my particular case I have several seasons renting decks that allow me to play and build my account, my next step is to do little by little with those cards that I usually rent, I speak of those that I can buy cheaper and thus make my rental load lighter in the season, since I would be buying the cards I use in battle and I have as rentals, I must say that at this point I already have cards that I have been raising my own level and I use them regularly also in some battles.

Conclusions

I could give you other tips, however, in order not to make the publication longer we will leave it here, whenever I can I am updating my progress in the construction of my account, sometimes it is difficult to play, but I do not lose focus, I keep my progress in the construction of a powerful account, applying the principles that I just shared with you.

Now I share with you the assets accumulated so far, I will surely continue accumulating little by little to continue growing my assets in Splinterlands.

This is the balance of the account I am building, the 88 registered cards are just the type of cards because I have earned a lot of BCX that I have been combining until I have level 5 cards in my stock.
