Splinterlands Social Media Challenge / My favorite cards from Rebellion

Hello friends I hope all is well at home. The truth is that this new edition of Splinterlands cards is brutal, now that we have the opportunity to use them in our battles is that we can appreciate the potential of each card, besides being able to enjoy other options with the changes introduced through this edition, namely new skills, dual summoners and new gameplay options.

All this has been generating that each one is testing and defining, according to their way of playing and their strategy, the cards that work best or those that become our favorites when renting, as is my case, or buy as is the case of many who have the ability to invest, as I have also tested them I also have my list of favorites for the moment, I do not rule out that more will be added to this list, however, today I share with you my list of favorite Rebellion cards.

First of all this CAPTAIN FELLBALDE, when the first rebellion cards were available to play and rent, being a fan of the water element and magic attack, logically I went looking for what was available with these features and I found this beauty, in the following lines I will try to justify what makes it one of my favorites, with a description of its stats at maximum level, plus three others that I brought in this publication.

Attack: The attack of this card is extraordinary, as it has both melee and magic attack and at its highest level I could provide up to three damage in melee attack and two damage in magic attack.

Cost of Mana: In my opinion 8 is an acceptable mana cost, average, for me this amount of mana is not very high nor so low but one thing compensates the other and I honestly believe that 8 as a mana cost is acceptable.

Speed: Speed is one of the strongest points of this card, as it can reach 6 speed and if you use a cata that boosts its speed then it is lethal.

Health: 8 as well as mana cost is a good health point, it will allow you to do a lot of damage before they can beat her.

Abilities: The ability of Snake present in this unit from level one, gives this unit the ability to attack from any position and is able to attack the monster that is in the last position of the enemy team, so we can use it in any position.

When reaching level three this beauty acquires the ability Strengthen, which increases health by +1 to all allied units, which strengthens the team you are using.

Then there is TORCH VIZIER a fire unit that in my scale of favoritism ranks second and there are several reasons why I prefer it over others, such as:

Attack: This monster can legar provide its opponent with 5 damage and can fight both melee and ranged, this coupled with a good summoner can make it a completely lethal unit.

Cost of Mana: In this line is much better than the card described above, as 5 mana could be used in almost any battle not important the amount of mana that imposes the battle, and for me is perfect, I want it.

Speed:I should mention that this unit maintains its speed at all levels, ie from level 1 brings 4 speed which makes it ideal in any league and be very competitive.

Health:The health of this monster is not one of the highest but reaching 7 health at its maximum level is an acceptable point, as I mentioned in the previous one, it can cause a lot of damage before being eliminated by the skills it acquires.

Abilities: The main ability of this unit is Opportunity and gives it the ability to attack from any position, something very good, also this ability makes its target the weakest monster or with less health of the enemy team.

The second ability that this monster acquires at level 4 is Reflection Shield and gives it the ability to avoid damage from Blast, Magic Reflection, Thorns, and Return Fire, a shield of immunity to these attacks, this makes it ideal for any type of combat, a beast at maximum level.

The third of this list is MANTAROTH, a neutral legendary card with some particular characteristics, beyond its damage power or speed that together with its high mana cost are its weaknesses, however, its abilities can compensate all this "lacks".

This monster in its level one has two skills, and acquires a new skill with each level reached, reaching its maximum level with five skills, one of them is part of the new skills added.

Attack:This unit has a respectable attack of three damage, and the best thing is that it is a point of damage that is maintained from the first level and for me is very good.

Cost of Mana: This card has a high mana cost, so it's not a unit that can be easily used in battle with low mana, however, that's not a problem as when there is enough mana to consume this will surely be one I will use.

Speed: In this unit both speed and attack is maintained at its four levels, what varies is the fact that it only has two points of speed and honestly I would like it to have at least a few more points of speed, something that can be remedied with a summoner or a card that adds +1 speed.

Health: This statistic in my opinion is one of the strengths of this monster, as it not only has 11 health points, but it is also protected by four points of shield which makes it impenetrable, in addition to all that when it reaches level three it acquires the ability to restore its shield, it's just great.

Abilities: As mentioned before, this unit starts at level one with two main abilities and gains one ability with each level until it reaches 5 abilities. First is the Shield ability, which allows the monster to reduce damage by 50% of any attack, either ranged attack or melee attack.

The second ability that this monster starts with is one of the new ones and it is Armored Strike, this ability allows the unit to use its armor stat.

When you go up from level 1 to level 2 this unit acquires the True Strike ability, then the attacks of this unit cannot be dodged, that is to say it will not miss its attack.

At the third level the Repair skill is added, which gives it the ability to repair the armor of the friendly unit that has suffered the most damage to its armor.

And to complete its wonderful amount of stats, at its maximum level this unit acquires the Blast ability, which allows it to inflict damage to units adjacent to the main target of the attack.

To conclude my list for the moment is this beauty, with magical attack as I like, a legendary card that I love, his name is BARASHKUKOR and belongs to the element death that in my scale of favorites is in the number four position.

Attack: The attack of this monster is formidable, 5 damage in magic attack from level one to level four which makes it one of my favorites, as I am a fan of magic attack.

Cost of Mana: The mana cost once again is quite high, however, it is a card to be used in a battle where the mana cost is quite high.

Speed: In terms of speed this stat is quite good, as it starts with three speed points from level 1 and ends with four at level 4, a good speed stat for this card.

Health: As for the health statistic, this card has a high score according to my appreciation criteria since it starts from level 1 with 6 health points protected by 2 shield points adding some protection to this card that when it reaches its maximum novel acquires 8 health points and 5 respectable shield points.

Abilities: This monster can have three abilities at its maximum level, starting with a main ability at level 1 which is Fury, this ability makes the monster cause double damage to cards with the Taunt ability.

The second ability that this unit adopts at level 2 is Weaken, which gives it the ability to reduce the health of all enemy monsters by one.

At the next level and up to its maximum level this unit acquires one more ability which is Magic Reflect, this card will return half of the damage when hit with a magical attack.

In summary these are some of the cards that have entered my list of favorites of this new edition Rebellion, and that is introducing some changes in the gameplay of Splinterlands, for many the best edition released so far.

Although it seems too early to make any judgment, at least I think so, the truth is that since the launch of the game no previous edition brought changes like this one.
