The new mode with assigned topics seems very interesting to me, as it challenges us to go out of our own standards and take on real challenges when it comes to writing and publishing.

This week's topic is a fascinating one as we will be able to read the personal experience of each player in their long, or short journey on the platform and I'm sure we will read exciting stories lived throughout these years, and here I tell you my story.

This is how I discovered Spliterlands.

I'm in Splinterlands since June 2019, so it's already 4 years of journey and knowledge of the game, which caught me from the beginning, and my dad was responsible for me to know this game. He, knew Steemit before the fork in the Blockchain and the problems that most are familiar with.

Through his publications and browsing the different communities he met a user who still remains and remains in Splinterlands, also I think he is one of the pioneers of the game the good friend @achim03, due to the economic situation of the country my dad asked him for help to create an account for my brother and me, and it was the same @achim03 who provided my father the necessary amount to start in the game with the account @gerjer.

At the beginning we made a duo with my older brother, he learned first and together we advanced little by little, hence the username @gerjer, ger for my brother Gerson and Jer for my name Jeremi, today the account is used only by me, since my brother is busy with other things.

My time in this fascinating world.

As I already mentioned, I have been playing Splinterlands for several years (4 years specifically) with a lot of activity in the game in the first years, you can say that I am not a newbie since I have learned to understand this game and to dominate its mechanics and strategy, with the limitation that gives me not having the necessary resources to invest in the game more than my time and effort.

In addition I must say that I plan to be that for a long time, in this new stage that I started some months ago due to some inconvenience that you will read later, I love the game and I believe that it will give me many more satisfactions.

The time I dedicate to the game.

The truth is that I am not dedicating the time that I would like, this due to my studies and the lack of resources, since to be competitive I need to rent SPS and cards every season, since I don't have the quantity and variety of cards to be able to compete in the highest leagues.

The lack of resources for rentals I am compensating with writing, so I try to participate every week in challenges to use what I earn in rewards from publications and reinvest them in rentals.

The other factor already mentioned are studies, every time I am in school season I have limited time, because I have to go every day to high school, plus the responsibility of fulfilling my school assignments.

My Splinterlands achievements.

I am very satisfied with the achievements obtained in the game, and in these years together with my brother we managed to build a powerful account, in a short time, due to our constancy in the game and a minimum investment.

The first years that we played were the first years of the game, in them we achieved important achievements, one of the ones I remember the most is having reached the diamond three league, reaching 50 season chests, all this achieved by two children without investing in cards, only their desire to have fun and climb in the game.

In this same time we managed to access through rewards to some powerful cards, both summoners and attack monsters, cards that would later be revalued significantly in the market, some that I remember are: ALRIC STORM BRINGER, RULER OF THE SEAS, GOBLIN MECH,SEA MONSTER, MEDUSA, SEA GENIE Among others.

The debacle for this account came at the end of the year 2021, moved by the strong crisis and seeing the value that some cards had taken (for some over-valued) we took the decision with my father to start selling cards to help the home situation.

The money from the cards was used to buy clothes, food and cover some needs in a continuous sale that lasted until the end of early 2022, leaving the unfortunate figure of zero cards in our collection.

After a year without playing or looking at the account, I asked my father to help me finance the first rents and began the recovery of the account, in an effort that has paid off and that I maintain slowly but steadily.

Goals and aspirations

My main goal is to build a powerful account, more powerful than the one we managed to have in the past, and I am focused on that? How am I going to achieve it? first of all I intend to maintain constancy in the game even if I have limited time, having as my main source of investment these publications.

In relation to the leagues to conquer I want to go as far as my game strategy allows me to go, and the cards I can rent, having as main goals the accumulation or collection of cards and the accumulation of the highest amount of SPS.

Tips and suggestions.

The first advice I can give to all newcomers is to have fun, do not take the game as a magical source of enrichment, or something with which you are going to make a fortune quickly, this without detracting from the fact that the game can give good rewards, but as I see it is something more long term.

If we take the above into account, my second piece of advice is to be patient, not just to soak up what you get, but to wait for the best time in the market to make a profit.

Thirdly, a lot of research, perseverance, fine tuning strategies, knowledge of the game and if possible make a good investment in cards, tokens and other elements of the game, this will help you to speed up the growth of the account.

Splinterlands is a universe of fun and emotions, where we find various ways to earn rewards, to invest and grow your assets within the game.

In Splinterlands we also find a very dynamic market where we can exchange the assets of the game, either for other useful assets within the game and also for other cryptoassets in the general market.

Many similar NFT play2ern games have hit the market, reaching a high peak in a short time, however they have fallen down, Splinterlands has the particularity of staying in time with a very active and engaged community, due to its constant innovations and its reward system.
