Hello everyone, today I will share a battle I had using the Common Death Monster Animated Corpse. I usually don´t use this card with Standard rules, because I do not have a Summoner or Splinter that with an ability to make it better (for example Protect); because as you can see the stats are not that impressive:

However, I had pretty good results in Battles with Rules Sets like Equal Opportunity, Even Stevens, Melee Mayhem or Reverse Speed where the weaknesses of the Monster become advantages, like you will see in the Battle of today.

RULE SET:

Even Stevens: Only even mana cards can be used.
MANA CAP: 22
ACTIVE ELEMENTS:
Fire, Water, Death and Dragon.

There is no better counter for Magic Attacks than this card because it gives Reflection ability to all Monsters.

• Monsters (from first to last):

I used it as tank this time approaching it 6 points of life.

I put it in second place despite being a Ranged Monster and taking the risk of getting in first place and losing the capacity of attack if Animated Corpse got defeated. At last it survived.

Great card to use against Battles with Water Monsters with Magic attack that do not involve Venari Wavesmith (because of the Shield ability that give +2 armor to the rest of the team and slow down the process of defeating each rival Monster), for example Ice Pixie.

It occupies a lot of Mana with 6, but it ability to take 1 speed of all rival Monsters and it´s 2 Magic Attack worth it for me.

It Weaken ability help me defeat my rival Monsters more quicky.

🏹THE BATTLE⚔️

Initial team Line-up:

Boogeyman and Undead Priest effects takes 1 point of Life and Speed of my Rival Monsters. The first Monster to attack in this Battle is my Twisted Jester againt Centaur.

The first monster to be lost is my Rival Ice Pixie by the attack of my Undead Badger.

At the end of the First Round My Rival Centaur, Medusa and Elven Mystic just had 1 point of life, and I got my Animated Corpse in the same situation. Later in the next round I would lost it after an attack of Medusa (which because of the effect of Reflection, would be killed too LITERALLY ANIMATED CORPSE CARRIED MEDUSA TO DEATH WITH HIM).

Finally, Undead Badger would ultimate Spineback Turtle to win the Battle.
