You read the title correctly. Yes, I DO use Recharge. There are rules in this game. These rules are always changing, and every game follows a different ruleset. Depending on the ruleset, certain abilities or cards may thrive or they may flop. For instance, Goblin Tower does well in Reverse Speed rulesets, and Desert Dragon could be argued a must have in Super Trample. In order to be competitive, it's important to learn these rulesets and learn what to play, and when to play it.
Believe it or not, I may have found a ruleset for Recharge that isn't Back to the Basics. I've found it works especially well in Equalizer games. For some reason, doing 3x damage to a monster that has 3x hp makes some sense. You could argue it only does 1.5X damage, but that's another conversation.
During a low mana Equalizer game I played temporal mage. I didn't play any high hp hoping to Leech off my opponents highest card. Unfortunately they played small also. Temporal Mage was actually the highest giving everyone 3hp. My Scavvo Hireling was able to repair the shield on my Blinding Reflector while my temporal mage, slowly but surely, picked them all off, one by one. I know this isn't describing the battle posted above, but that can speak for itself. I've been trying this technique every Equalizer game and it seems to work pretty well. I'm curious to know if anyone else has. If so, what were your results? I'm playing down in Silver league currently, but have 95k power. I'm almost to gold! If you wanna help me on my journey my ign is "gh-favel" give me some tips, advise, criticisms or cards. I'm open to it all. THANK YOU~Favel
