The long wait is finally over! Rebellion launched successfully yesterday and now everyone get to enjoy a completely new meta full of fun interactions, and the best part is that a lot of them are yet to be discovered. I will start with how the airdrops and pack opening went for me, and my plans for my collection and then we'll actually have a quick look at the Mav. server and the battlewagon system which is already live on it.

So, after I opened the airdrops on the Mav. server last week (a fake opening :)) and getting 2 GF Mantaroths on it as well as a few extra RFs, I just knew my luck was basically thrown away and well... that was exactly what happened. I got just one additional cope of Mantaroth and that was it. The moral of this story is... don't waste your luck opening stuff on the Mav. server if you are waiting to open stuff in the live game, too. Anyhow, at least there are guaranteed amount of drops and those enabled me to max immediately both Mantaroth and the Grimbardun Smith. They are really fun promo cards and I have already been trying actively to play them as much as I can.

After the airdrop claim was done and mourned (so about 30 minutes later), I decided it was time to check if I would also get less GFLs than the amount I got on the Mav. server, haha. And, yes, after opening my 1,303, I got a total of 3 GFLs - 1 less than the amount I got from the "fake" packs. Again, I have proven with absolute certainty (lol) that you should never waste your luck on the Mav. server. Now, enough complaining, here the tally of the amount of cards I got and their value briefly after opening the packs:

A total of 6,515 cards:
- 102 Legendary cards -> 3 GFs
- 280 Epic cards -> 6 GFs
- 1,629 Rare cards -> 70 GFs
- 4,504 Common cards -> 176 GFs
This amount got me somewhere with my deck but since I am playing in Diamond/Champ, I do need a mostly maxed deck. What I did in the past 24 hours was engaging in selling all my GFs and any extras I might have, and buying RF cards I need. The market has been really active so I am only left with these remaining cards:

I thin that's pretty good, and here's how my RB deck has been progressing thanks to the GFs I have sold:

I've levelled the Commons to level 8, and some of the Common Summoners to level 9. You might think - wow, you are almost there but in reality level 8 for Commons takes 220 cards, so getting them from here to level 10 (max), it takes almost that many cards - 180. That's definitely a bit crazy in general. I think the most important Commons to be maxed are, of course, the Summoners since they limit the level of the rest of the team, however, they are also the most expensive Common cards (to be expected).

I've levelled the Rares to level 6, and some of the Rare Summoners to level 7. Again I've gotten their level to a decent amount but I still have a lot of work to do to get all of them to level 8. And as with the Commons, I will need to max the Summoners first so that they do not limit the rest of my team. The max level for Rares is level 8.

Next on the list - my Epics. Oh, boy - the Epics... If you have been around, you know that the Epics are usually the hardest, and often most expensive to level, especially in the beginning of a new set. That's why what I did was to just buy a few copies here and there to get them to the next level, however, I will leave them in their current state for a while I suspect while I focus on leveling the Summoners.

Last but definitely not least - the Legendary cards! As you can see I've actually had a great progress on them thanks to my rigorous GF selling, and I just need to get two more cards from level 3 to level 4 to be done with them for now. Probably was a bit too quick to level Akane (I had to buy 3 more copies) since I do believe her price will fall in the 20-ish dollar range sooner rather than later but I really wanted her maxed so I can use her without gimping myself.

Let's have a quick look at the brand new Conflicts system which will be going live in the game next week. First off you are notified that there is an active conflict by the nice looking pop-up which is similar to the pop-up for airdrops or any other new shop releases.

On the screenshot below you can see the main screen of the currently active conflict - a short story about it and on the left - the actual airdrop you are "battling" against the Chaos Legion to earn. You can see there is a "Chances" counter right under Rage's head.

So, you click on Add Wagon and you get to this screen where you buy wagons. Each wagon costs 50 vouchers and can contain 5 cards and 100 packs. What brings you points is the CP each card has. The packs have a fixed CP of 150 per pack so 1 Wagon can house 15,000 CP from packs. The way it is setup, at least in my opinion, is that it does favor a bit more holding packs or even better getting a maxed GF collection, which as we know, is pretty expensive. There is a total of 4,000 airdrops, and everyone is battling for them. Every 100,000 CP you have staked, gives you 1 chance (per hour) to get an airdrop in the end, however, there are no guarantees, so you might be on top of the leaderboard and be incredibly unlucky getting 0 airdrops. That's highly unlikely but still possible.

As a whole it is a cool idea and I like the fact that it is also connected to the lore and you actually participate in different missions to earn your airdrops. I also like the fact that it replaces the old system of pack cycling. The thing I don't like is that it still benefits pack holding more than having a RF collection. Only people with a lot of GF cards will outpace the pack hodlers.

Since we briefly mentioned Rage, he is actually also currently on the Mav server (subject to change) and right now he's just out-RAGE-ous! A 16-mana behemoth, never seen before in the world of Praetoria, he will definitely make a difference in any high-mana battle. He starts off with Flying and Void at level 1. Then at level 2 he gains Weapons Training. At level 3 he get yet another ability - Leech and finally at level 4 he also gains Affliction. His stats at max level is 5 Magic Attack, 4 Speed, 5 Armor and 11 Health. I am sure Rage fears nothing, nothing other than Giant Killer....

Here's his lore snippet for all the Lore nerds out there...

Well this is it for now - this has been a very exciting week so far for sure. Play More, Bot Less! <3
