How I Got Out of Bronze

I was one of those players who got absolutely nuked and languished in bronze after the change in phantom cards was implemented. One thing I hoped for was once Chaos Legion goes on general sale, I can get enough cards to not only go above 15000 power (and get to silver without renting), those same cards will diversify my collection enough to give me plenty of choices during battles.

Since CL release I have been in Silver 3. While I bought several packs to expand my collection (and accomplish the abovementioned goals), I realized 2 basic things you would need to get out of bronze:

• Level up your summoners. This may mean a little bit of investment, but a lv2 summoner allows you to play lv3-2-2-1 (C-R-E-L) cards. More on this in the next point, but 5 lv1 summoner cards will run you between $15-$25, depending on which CL summoner you get. Even if you upgrade only 1 or 2 summoners that is not bad because most/all splinters are available in bronze.
• Upgrade your cards. This is actually easy because there are plenty of commons being sold at less than 10 cents (100 credits) per card. A Gargoya Lion, which sells at about 3 cents, can be upgraded to lv2 for only 15 cents! That added point of speed, life, or protection can be that small advantage you need to win a mirror match. Imagine if all your cards have been upgraded!

So those are my tips, based on how I did. While my upgrades were because of packs I bought, these points I mentioned made me realize how significant levelling up your cards can be!
