Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge! - Broken Arrows (ENG/ITA)

Hello to all Splinterlands friends!!!

Excitement is soaring within the Splinterlands community as we delve into the new abilities and revolutionary gameplay mechanics introduced in the latest Rebellion edition. With a particular focus on summoners bringing a breath of strategic fresh air to every battle, players are now gearing up to immerse themselves in a new era of Splinterlands through Conflicts, an innovative Airdrop method challenging the boundaries of tradition.

Now, to acquire the precious new cards, it's not just about buying a certain number of packs; you must stake your cards and unopened packs. A new level of strategic and tactical engagement is capturing the attention of every Splinterlands enthusiast.

Broken Arrows: With this ruleset, monsters with Ranged attack cannot be deployed, meaning teams relying on such attack types, often summoned by Yodin Zaku or General Sloan, cannot take the field. Players must cleverly manage the two remaining monster types, ideally deploying a Tank card with protection against Magic attacks or Magic cards with abilities like Thorns.

And these are the game rules:

With a very low Mana Cap of only 14 points, and in addition to Broken Arrows, we have two more rulesets: Back to Basics and Unprotected, making it a very basic match where individual card stats will predominantly matter.

And here's the battlefield:

Both of us chose Alric Stormbringer as the summoner, one of the best choices in low Mana challenges with the Broken Arrows ruleset. His +1 Magic attack buff, at the cost of only 3 Mana, is a steal, and it's hard to find better.

My team consisted of only 4 monsters: Furious Chicken, Torrent Fiend, Djinn Oshannus, and Musa Saline.

On the other hand, my opponent filled all available slots, deploying 6 monsters on the battlefield: Chaos Agent, Hardy Stonefish, Creeping Ooze, Torrent Fiend, Ice Pixie, and Ruler of the Seas.

I could have won this match if I hadn't made the mistake of putting all my hopes on Djinn Oshannus, which, at the cost of 8 mana, prevented other monsters that could have been more helpful from joining the team. Instead, the opponent's Ruler of the Seas lasted until the end and won the final 1v1 duel against my Muse Saline.

Ora, per ricevere le preziose nuove carte, non basta solo comprare un determinato numero di pacchetti; è necessario mettere in staking le proprie carte e pacchetti ancora da aprire. Un nuovo livello di coinvolgimento strategico e tattico che sta catturando l'attenzione di ogni appassionato di Splinterlands.

Broken Arrows: con questo ruleset non si possono schierare mostri con attacco Ranged, quindi squadre basate su questi tipi di attacco come quelle di solito evocate da Yodin Zaku o General Sloan non possono scendere in campo.

Bisogna quindi gestire con astuzia i 2 tipi di mostri rimanenti: possibilmente, schierando in posizione Tank una carta che abbia protezione contro gli attacchi Magici, oppure carte Magiche che abbiano abilità come Thorns.

E queste sono le regole del gioco:

Un Mana Cap molto basso, di soli 14 punti, ed oltre a Broken Arrows, abbiamo altri 2 rulesets: Back to Basics e Unprotected, quindi una partita molto basilare, dove conteranno prettamente le stats delle singole carte.

Ed ecco il campo di battaglia:

Entrambi abbiamo scelto come evocatore Alric Stormbringer, una delle scelte migliori nelle sfide a pochi mana con il ruleset Broken Arrows: infatti, il suo +1 di buff agli attacchi magici, al solo costo di 3 Mana, è un vero affare ed è difficile trovare di meglio.

La mia squadra era composta da soli 4 mostri: Furious Chicken, Torrent Fiend, Djinn Oshannus e Musa Saline.

Invece, il mio avversario, ha saputo riempire meglio i posti a disposizione schierando 6 mostri sul campo di battaglia: Chaos Agent, Hardy Stonefish, Creeping Ooze, Torrent Fiend, Ice Pixie e Ruler of the Seas.

Potevo vincere questa partita, se non avessi fatto l'errore di puntare tutto su Djinn Oshannus, che al costo di 8 mana ha precluso l'ingresso in squadra di altri mostri che potevano dare più di una mano; invece, il Ruler of the Seas avversario è durato fino alla fine, ed ha vinto il duello finale, 1 contro 1, con la mia Muse Saline.
