Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge! - Target Practice (ENG/ITA)

Hello to all fellow Splinterlands players!!!

As players, when we choose the monsters to send into battle, we are often plagued by the doubt of where to deploy our cards, that is, in which position they will do the most damage to opponents, or where they will be able to be hit. It's not uncommon for players to field monsters to sacrifice, perhaps with the "Martyr" ability, to safeguard the rest of the team.

Additionally, there are various rulesets that change the attack behaviors of our monsters, and that's what we'll see in this week's Battle Mage Secrets.

With the Target Practice ruleset, all cards with Ranged and Magic attacks gain the Snipe ability, allowing them to attack opponent monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack, that are not in the Tank position, i.e., the first position. Therefore, choosing a card specifically for the Snipe ability becomes pointless with this ruleset.

And these are the game rules:

With an average mana cap of 32, with Target Practice, but also with Broken Arrows and Super Sneak, you can lean towards a team based on Melee, Magic, or a mix, but no cards with Ranged attacks.

And here is the battlefield:

Both my opponent and I, influenced by the Super Sneak ruleset, oriented ourselves towards a challenge between teams mainly with melee attacks. However, my opponent deployed Queen Mycelia with magic attack, benefiting from the Target Practice ruleset.

As a summoner, I chose Tarsa to exploit her +1 in Melee and placed Ferox Defender in the Tank position, followed by Exploding Rats, Exploding Dwarfs, Disintegrator with its Demoralize ability (-1 in melee), Cerberus in fifth hoping to exploit its Retaliate, and finally Furious Chicken.

On the other hand, my opponent, with the Wizard of Eastwood summoner, inflicted a heavy -2 in armor that affected my Ferox Defender. In the Tank position, they placed a monster with no attack, Thane Newsong, followed by Brownie, Queen Mycelia, Grund, Venari Knifer, and Vampire Bat.

What can I say? I completely messed up this game; I probably chose monsters with low Health points that didn't withstand opponent attacks for long. By Round 3, it was clear I had lost, and the only card left was Ferox Defender, which surrendered shortly after.

Caught up too much in Super Sneak, I made a mistake not to exploit Target Practice and put more monsters with Magic attacks on the field instead of focusing exclusively on Melee cards.

Ciao a tutti i compagni giocatori di Splinterlands!!!

Noi giocatori, quando scegliamo i mostri da mandare in battaglia, spesso siamo attanagliati dal dubbio di dove schierare le nostre carte, ovvero in quale posizione faranno più danno agli avversari, oppure dove riusciranno ad essere colpiti , infatti non è raro che si metta in campo dei mostri da sacrificare, magari che abbiano anche l'abilità "Martyr", prorpio per salvaguardare il resto della squadra.

E inoltre ci sono vari ruleset che cambiano i comportamenti di attacco dei nostri mostri, ed è quello che vedremo nel Battle Mage Secrets di questa settimana.

Con il ruleset Target Practice, tutte le carte con attacco Ranged e Magico ottengono l'abilità Snipe, ovvero quella di attaccare mostri avversari , con Ranged, Magia o nessun attacco, che non si trovano nelle posizione Tank, cioè la prima posizione, quindi di fatto, andare a scegliere una carta apposta per l'abilità Snipe, diventa inutile con questo ruleset.

E queste sono le regole del gioco:

Ed ecco il campo di battaglia:

Entrambi, io e il mio avversario, presi dal ruleset Super Sneak, ci siamo orientati verso una sfida tra squadre prettamente con attacchi melee, ma il mio avversario ha schierato Queen Mycelia con attacco magico, e che quindi ha usufruito del ruleset Target Practice.

Io, come evocatore, ho scelto Tarsa, per sfruttare il suo +1 in Melee, ed ho messo nella posizione Tank Ferox Defender, seguito da Exploding Rats, Exploding Dwarfs, Disintegrator con la sua abilità Demoralize (-1 in melee), Cerberus in quinta sperando di sfruttare il suo Retaliate, e infine Furious Chicken.

Invece, il mio avversario, ha schierato come evocatore Wizard of Eastwood , infliggendo un pesante -2 in armatura che ha colpito il mio Ferox Defender, e in posizione Tank ha messo un mostro senza attacco, Thane Newsong, seguito da Brownie, Queen Mycelia, Grund, Venair Knifer e Vampire Bat.

Che devo dire? Questa partita l'ho completamente sbagliata, probabilmente mi sono orientato su mostri con pochi punti Health che non hanno resistito molto ai colpi avversari, già al Round 3 si vedeva che avevo perso, l'unica carta che mi era rimasta era Ferox Defender che si è arreso poco dopo.

Preso troppo da Super Sneak, ho sbagliato a non sfruttare Target Practice, e mettere in campo più mostri con attacco Magico, invece che concentrarmi esclusivamente sulle carte Melee.
