Splinterlands: Social Media Challenge - Helios Matriarch !!!

Hello to all Splinterlands players!

The Dragon splinter has always been the most fascinating and in many ways innovative aspect of the Splinterlands world. When I started playing back in the now-distant 2018, one of my favorite summoners was Selenia Sky. She granted a +1 Ranged attack, but as is the case with the Dragon element, she allowed you to choose cards from another element of your choice. This enabled you to strengthen specific cards and create a powerful mixed team.

Unfortunately, after a few years, I took a break from playing for a while. When I returned to the platform, I found some pleasant surprises but also challenges. The market price of Selenia Sky had skyrocketed, which meant that the few cards I had were worth a lot of money. However, if I wanted to upgrade them, I would have to invest even more money.

Of course, I managed to buy some cards like Daria Dragonscale, but I still lagged behind in terms of the selection and variety of this element.

In this regard, I received assistance from the new Soulbound card named Helios Matriarch, a Dragon element summoner. It cannot be bought but is often found in focus rewards and end-of-season rewards. This means that upgrading this card doesn't require any financial investment. I hope to soon bring it to levels 5-6-7, allowing me to summon even stronger monsters of this element.

As a card, it's a bit mana-intensive, requiring 6 mana, but it possesses the Conscript ability, which allows it to deploy a Gladius card. It also provides +1 Speed, great for Dragon group monsters that already have high speed values. They often have flying abilities, making them even harder to hit.

Thanks to Helios Matriarch, I was able to deploy a beautiful mixed team of Neutral, Dragon, Water, and Gladius elements, while my opponent was limited to choosing between Water and Neutral splinters.

The MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the battle was undoubtedly the "gladiator" Relenor Cleaver. Thanks to his Bloodlust ability, he boosted all his values every time he landed the finishing blow on an opponent's monster. Without Helios Matriarch as the summoner, I wouldn't have been able to deploy him.

Ciao a tutti i giocatori di Splinterlands!!!

L'elemento Drago è sempre stato quello più affascinante, e in molti versi anche innovativo, del mondo Splinterlands: quando ho iniziato a giocare, nell'ormai lontano 2018, un dei miei evocatori preferiti era Selenia Sky, che dava un +1 in attacco Ranged ma, come succede per l'elemento Drago, ti permette di scegliere carte di un altro elemento a tua scelta, e questo ti permetteva di poter potenziare determinate carte e di fare una squadra mista molto potente.

Purtroppo, dopo qualche anno, ho smesso di giocare per un po' di tempo, e quando sono rientrato sulla piattaforma, ho trovato delle sorprese molto gradevoli, ma anche difficili da gestire: il prezzo di mercato di Selenia Sky era schizzato alle stelle, questo voleva dire che le poche carte che avevo valevano molti soldi, ma se le avessi voluto potenziare dovevo sborsare un sacco di quattrini in più.

Certo, ho potuto comprare anche qualche carta come Daria Dragonscale, ma rimanevo comunque indietro nella scelta e selezione di questo elemento.

Un aiuto in questo senso, mi è stato dato dalla nuova carta Soulbound di nome Helios Matriarch, evocatore dell'elemento Drago, che non si può comprare, ma si trova spesso nelle ricompense dei focus e di fine stagione, e quindi potenziare questa carta non costa nulla a livello finanziario, e spero così, presto, di portarla a livello 5-6-7, in modo da poter evocare mostri sempre più forti di questo elemento.

Come carta è un po' costosa in termini di mana, ne prende ben 6, però ha l'abilità Conscript , con cui può schierare una carta Gladius, e dona inoltre +1 in Speed, ottimo per i mostri del gruppo Drago che già hanno valori di velocità molto alti, e spesso sono anche volanti, e questo li rende ancora più difficili da essere colpiti.

Vedete, che grazie ad Helios Matriarch, ho potuto schierare una bellissima squadra mista tra gli elementi Neutrali, Drago, Acqua e Gladius, mentre il mio avversario era obbligato a scegliere solo tra gli splinter Acqua e Neutral.

Il MVP (Most Valuable Player) della battaglia è stato senza dubbio il "gladiator" Relenor Cleaver, che grazie alla sua abilità Bloodlust, ha incrementato tutti i suoi valori ogni volta che dava il colpo di grazia ad un mostro avversario, e senza Helios Matriarch come evocatore, non avrei potuto schierarlo.
