Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Joraki Venshiro (Eng/Ita)

The crypto market no longer leaves much room for imagination, the downtrend is evident and we could almost say that the Bear phase has fully kicked in. There is not much to do other than acknowledge it and adapt. In recent days, in particular, Hive has suffered quite a lot, first slipping below the psychological threshold of 0.10 dollars and even touching levels below 0.09. A movement that has inevitably affected the entire ecosystem revolving around this blockchain.

Splinterlands is no exception. Tokens, cards and in game assets have all felt this “heavy air”, with values dropping almost everywhere. This is the classic domino effect that occurs during moments of market weakness, less confidence, less liquidity and prices struggling to hold. What remains to be seen is how contagious this kind of “negative influence” will be and how long it will continue to be felt over the coming days or weeks.

Fortunately, at least on the gameplay side, there is no shortage of reasons for excitement. Right in these hours, a new Voucher Card is arriving and it has already sparked strong interest within the community, Cloveria Morth’lana. This is a unit that can be purchased exclusively through Vouchers and will be available directly in the dedicated shop, immediately after today’s update.

We are talking about a card that appears to be very strong, offered at a price of 200 Voucher per BCX, which at the current market value of the token corresponds to about 3 dollars. The real question mark, however, remains its future price on the internal card market, especially considering the Bear Market context that tends to push down the prices of almost everything.

What can we say? It is certainly not the best period for those aiming for short term profits, but for those who think in terms of accumulation and the long term, it is probably one of the best times to buy.

Now, let’s analyze together this new Reward card, Joraki Venshiro, an epic monster of the Death element and of the Drakoshan Bloodline, which at level one, for a cost of 8 mana, offers good stats, including 3 Ranged and Speed, and 6 Health, combined with the new ability Painforge. At the second and third levels it gains Blind and Piercing respectively, and at the final and sixth upgrade it also obtains Affliction.

Its current market price exceeds 0.5 dollars per card, a very respectable price for an epic card, which already at level three proves to be very dangerous in terms of offensive power against opponents.

In this battle with a very high Mana Cap, specifically 87, and with one of the rulesets that most alters the balance on the field, namely Equalizer, I chose more or less the same structure as my favorite team, placing Lorkus as the archon, Ulundin Overseer as the Tank, followed by Pallus, Barashkukor, Gramel the Hunger, Joraki Venshiro, and finally Helheim Demon.

My opponent, on the other hand, chose Elias Max Pruitt as the archon, and deployed Coralforged in the first position, followed by Commander Slade, Steppe Stalker, Mystic Scaleweaver, Conclave Tracker, and finally Saltwater Mage.

It was a great and very intense battle, up until round 4 I could not have said who the winner would be, then I noticed that my monsters, thanks to the Life Leech ability granted by Lorkus, kept accumulating Health points, and at that moment I knew victory was in my hands.

Joraki Venshiro performed well, it is a solid card without too many frills. Perhaps the Painforge ability is not among my favorites because I consider it less impactful compared to others, since it is rarely triggered, however Joraki, already at upgrade level 3, becomes a strong Ranged monster that, with the Piercing ability, can deal significant damage even to opponents with Armor, making it worth its 8 mana cost and a good choice to deploy in certain types of battles.

Il mercato crypto, ormai, non lascia più molto spazio all’immaginazione: la discesa è evidente e potremmo quasi dire che la fase Bear sia entrata nel vivo. Non c’è molto da fare se non prenderne atto e adattarsi. Negli ultimi giorni, in particolare, Hive ha sofferto parecchio, scivolando prima sotto la soglia psicologica degli 0,10 dollari e arrivando persino a toccare livelli inferiori agli 0,09. Un movimento che, inevitabilmente, ha avuto ripercussioni su tutto l’ecosistema che ruota attorno a questa blockchain.

Splinterlands non fa eccezione. Token, carte e asset di gioco hanno risentito di questa “aria pesante”, con valori in calo un po’ ovunque. È il classico effetto domino che si innesca nei momenti di debolezza del mercato: meno fiducia, meno liquidità e prezzi che faticano a tenere. Resta da capire quanto questa sorta di “influenza negativa” sarà contagiosa e quanto a lungo continuerà a farsi sentire nei prossimi giorni o settimane.

Fortunatamente, almeno sul fronte del gioco, non manca qualche motivo di entusiasmo. Proprio in queste ore, infatti, è in arrivo una nuova Voucher Card che ha già acceso l’interesse della community: Cloveria Morth’lana. Si tratta di un’unità acquistabile esclusivamente tramite Voucher e disponibile direttamente nel negozio dedicato, subito dopo l’aggiornamento odierno.

Parliamo di una carta che sembra essere molto performante, proposta a un prezzo di 200 Vucher per BCX, che al valore attuale di mercato del token corrisponde a circa 3 dollari. Il vero punto interrogativo, però, resta la sua futura quotazione nel mercato interno delle carte, soprattutto considerando il contesto di Bear Market che tende a schiacciare i prezzi un po’ di tutto.

Che dire? Sicuramente non è il periodo migliore per chi punta ai guadagni nel breve termine, ma per chi ragiona in ottica di accumulo e lungo periodo… è probabilmente uno dei momenti migliori per comprare.

Intanto, andiamo ad analizzare insieme questa nuova carta Reward: si tratta di Joraki Venshiro, mostro epico dell'elemento Death e della Bloodline Drakoshan, che al primo livello, per il costo di 8 mana, offre delle buone stats, tra cui 3 di Ranged e Speed, e 6 di Health, unite alla nuova abilità Painforge, a cui poi si aggiungono, rispettivamente al secondo e al terso livello, Blind e Piercing, e all'ultimo e sesto potenziamento, ottiene anche Affliction.

La sua quotazione attuale sul mercato, supera gli 0.5 $ per carta, una prezzo niente male per una carta epica, che già al terzo livello si presenta molto pericolosa in termine di attacchi verso gli avversari.

In questa sfida ad altissimo Mana Cap, ovvero 87, e con uno dei rulesets che modifica di più gli equilibri in campo, ovvero Equalizer, ho scelto , bene o male, la stessa struttura della mia squadra preferita, mettendo Lorkus come archon, Ulundin Overseer come Tank, seguito da Pallus, Barashkukor, Gramel the Hunger, Joraki Venshiro, e , per finire, Helheim Demon.

È stata una bella battaglia molto combattuta, fino al round 4 non avrei saputo dire che sarebbe stato il vincitore, poi ho visto che i miei mostri, grazie all'abilità Life Leech donata da Lorkus, continuavano ad accumulare punti Health, e quindi sapevo di avere la vittoria in pugno.

Joraki Venshiro si è ben comportato, è una carta solida senza troppo fronzoli, forse l'abilità Painforge non è tra le mia preferite perchè la considero meno influente rispetto ad altre, perchè raramente viene attivata, però Joraki, già al livelo di potenziamento 3, diventa un mostro Ranged che con l'abilità Piercing può fare male anche agli avversari che hanno Armor a disposizione, e quindi vale il suo costo di 8 mana e conviene schierarlo in alcuni tipi di sfida.
