Splinterlands: Social Media Challenge - Scarred Llama Mage

This cute Llama you see on the cover of this post, with its neon colors, the magical crystals floating above its head, and its smiling cactus friend beside it, certainly doesn't inspire terror like other monsters here on Splinterlands. In truth, Scarred Llama Mage is part of the formidable summoners from the Untamed edition, along with Yodin Zaku and Bizantine Kitty, and it's still a highly used card for the valuable buffs it provides to your team.

Scarred Llama Mage is a card I bought a long time ago upon its release. Its price now hovers around $170. I paid more for it at the time, but I'm happy with the purchase because it helped me win many matches, in addition to being in high demand in the card rental market.

It provides 3 crucial buffs: +2 in Health, the Last Stand ability, which guarantees +50% in all parameters if the card is the last one remaining in your deck, and the Cleanse ability, which removes all debuffs from the monster in the Tank position.

With only a 24 Mana Cap, it was a bit risky to choose Llama as the summoner since it costs 7 mana. I usually use it with 30 or more mana, but I wanted to break from the usual patterns. The entire strategy of my formation was to maximize the potential of Flesh Golem in the third position, who already possesses the Heal ability, but surrounded by two monsters with the Martyr ability, in this case, Fungus Flinger and Venari Marksrat, and by sacrificing Furious Chicken in the Tank position, I hoped it would last until the end of the challenge with much higher values.

On the other hand, my opponent chose a very classic team with cards mainly from the Chaos Legion edition, with Thaddius Brood as the summoner, and a Cursed Windeku in the first position, supported by a mixed team of Melee and especially Ranged attacks.

Wow, I risked a lot of losing, but in the end, I secured the victory! Flesh Golem, my cornerstone on which I staked everything for this challenge, came close several times to leaving the battlefield with just 1 point of Health, but fortunately, with its Heal ability and the Martyr ability of the monsters around it, it managed to survive and lead its team to victory.

This card configuration was a bit risky. With a stronger opposing team, I would have surely lost. I'm not sure if I'll try it again, maybe with some adjustments.

Questo simpatico Lama che vedete nella copertina di questo post, con i suoi colori fluo , i cristalli magici che lievitano sopra la testa, e il suo amico cactus sorridente vicino a lui, sicuramente non incute terrore come altri mostri quì su Splinterlands, in verità Scarred llama Mage fa parte dei temibili evocatori dell'edizione Untamed, insieme a Yodin Zaku e Bizantine Kitty, ed è ancora una carta molto usata per i preziosi buff che fornisce alla propria squadra.

Scarred llama Mage è una carta che io ho comprato molto tempo la sua uscita, adesso il prezzo si aggira intorno ai 170 $, io, a suo tempo l'ho pagata di più, ma sono contento dell'acquisto, perchè mi ha fatto vincere molte partite, oltre ad essere molto richiesta nel mercato degli affitti delle carte.

Dona 3 importantissimi Buffs: +2 in Helth, l'abilità Last Stand, che garantisce +50% in tutti i parametri se la carta è l'ultima rimasta del proprio mazzo, e l'abilità Cleanse, che rimuove tutti i debuff al mostro in posizione Tank.

Con soli 24 di Mana Cap, è stato un po' un azzardo scegliere Llama come evocatore, visto che costa ben 7 di mana, di solito lo uso con 30 o più, però avevo voglia di cambiare dai soliti schemi.
Tutta la strategia del mio schieramento era quello di potenziare al massimo
Flesh Golem in terza posizione, che già di suo possiede l'abilità Heal, ma circondato da due mostri con l'abilità Martyr, in questo caso Fungus Flinger e Venari Marksrat,e mandando al sacrificio Furious Chicken il posizione Tank, speravo arrivasse alla fine della sfida con valori molto altri.

Il mio avversario, invece, ha scelto una squadra molto classica con carte prettamente dell'edizione Chaos Legion, con Thaddius Brood come evocatore, e un Cursed Windeku in prima posizione, sorretto da una squadra mista tra attacchi Melee e sopratutto Ranged.

Accidenti, ho rischiato molto di perdere, però alla fine ho portato a casa la vittoria !
Flesh Golem , la mia punta di diamante su cui ho puntato tutto per questa sfida, ha rischiato più volte di lasciare il campo di battaglia toccando 1 solo punto di Health, ma per fortuna, con la sua abilità Heal e l'abilità Martyr dei mostri intorno a lui, è riuscito a sopravvivere e portare la sua squadra alla vittoria.

È stata un po' rischiosa questa configurazione di carte, con una squadra avversaria più forte avrei perso di sicuro, non so se la riproverò di nuovo, magari con qualche cambiamento.
