Splinterlands: Social Media Challenge - Terraceous Hulk !!!

Hello to all Splinterlands players!!!

Playing games on Splinterlands and opening end-of-Focus reward chests is essential for several reasons. Each chest offers the opportunity to accumulate new cards, ranging from common to legendary, thereby expanding your collection. This diversity of cards makes you more flexible in your battle strategies and allows you to better adapt to opponents' tactics. Additionally, receiving duplicate cards is equally valuable, as you can use them to enhance the cards you already own, improving their stats and abilities. End-of-Focus chests also provide the chance to obtain higher rarity cards, which often boast exceptional abilities and stats.

And that's exactly what happened to me in today's end-of-Focus rewards: it doesn't happen very often, but I found 2 cards of a legendary Earth element.

This is Terraceous Hulk: a stone giant with a blue light globe at stomach level, costing a high mana price of 11, but offering 9 Health, 6 Armor, 4 Melee, and 1 Speed, along with two abilities right at level 1: Taunt and Void Armor.

At first glance, the natural placement for this monster would be in the Tank position of your team, although, thanks to the Taunt ability, it can also serve as a "shield" in other positions.

Let's see Terraceous Hulk in action in this battle of mine:

I tried this legendary monster in the first position, taking some hits right from the start of the battle, while preserving very strong cards in the rear, like Quora Towershead and Runemancer Florre.

On the other hand, my opponent chose a Water element team, with Possibilus the Wise as the summoner, very strong in melee attacks, and with Diemonshark in the first position.

I have to say, it was just an experiment!!!

Terraceous Hulk didn't last long before surrendering; the attacking power of the opponent's team was too great, with many golden, level 6-7 monsters. To compete, I would have needed much more powerful cards and benched the level 1 ones.

Giocare partite su Splinterlands e aprire gli scrigni di ricompensa di fine Focus è essenziale per diversi motivi. Ogni scrigno offre l'opportunità di accumulare nuove carte, che variano dalla comune alla leggendaria, ampliando così la tua collezione. Questa diversità di carte ti rende più flessibile nelle tue strategie di battaglia e ti consente di adattarti meglio alle tattiche degli avversari. Inoltre, ricevere carte duplicate è altrettanto prezioso, in quanto puoi usarle per potenziare le carte che già possiedi, migliorando le loro statistiche e abilità. Gli scrigni di fine Focus offrono anche la possibilità di ottenere carte di rarità superiore, che spesso presentano abilità e statistiche eccezionali.

Ed è proprio quello che mi è successo nelle ricompense di fine focus di oggi: non succede molto spesso, ma ho trovato 2 carte di una leggendaria dell'elemento Terra.

Si tratta di Terraceous Hulk: gigante di pietra con un globo di luce azzurro all'altezza dello stomaco, costa un prezzo molto alto in termini di mana, ovvero 11, ma offre 9 di Health, 6 di Armor, 4 di Melee, e 1 di velocità, e ben due abilità già al livello 1: Taunt e Void Armor.

Il piazzamento naturale di questo mostro sembrerebbe, a un primo approccio, nella posizione Tank della propria squadra, anche se, grazie all'abilità Taunt, può fungere da "paracolpi" anche nelle altre posizioni.

Proviamo questo mostro leggendario in prima posizione, a prendere un po' di botte fin dall'inizio ella battaglia, preservando carte molto forti, nelle retrovie, come Quora Towershead e Runemancer Florre.

Invece , il mio avversario, ha scelto una squadra dell'elemento Acqua, con Possibilus the Wise come evocatore, molto forte negli attacchi melee, con Diemonshark in prima posizione.

Che devo dire, è stato solo un esperimento !!!

Terraceous Hulk non ha resistito molto prima di arrendersi, la potenza di attacco della squadra avversaria era troppo grande, con tanti mostri d'oro, e di livello 6-7, per competere avrei dovuto scegliere carte molto più potenziate e lasciare in panchine quelle di livello 1.
