Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - The 6 Best-Selling Rare cards (ENG/ITA)

Incredible things are happening in the Splinterlands card market these days, especially regarding the new Rebellion card edition: I'm not sure if it's a temporary thing, I guess so, but some rare cards have surpassed epic cards in ranking, and even legendary cards.

I'm not sure if it's due to the introduction of new rulesets, like Shadows of Gray, which has increased the value of Neutral cards, or it could be because we're approaching the Bitcoin halving, and the Splinterlands staff has organized a special sale to celebrate the event, featuring two new cards, Baron Fyatt and Henchling Enforcer.

We're sure these novelties will ignite the market, although the numbers we see today will most likely be temporary.

Today, in this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge, I want to analyze, together with you, the 6 best-selling rare cards of the new Rebellion edition, and see if their price matches their performance on the field.

Underboss Fabino: The new Rebellion summoners are certainly innovative, but we players still need to fully understand how to use them, and one of the most popular is Underboss Fabino, an Earth element summoner that gives the option to choose between +2 melee for two monsters on your team, or applying Poisoned to an opponent's card.

The +2 melee is great in the Earth group because there are many monsters with this type of attack, and it can be particularly useful in challenges with the Up, Close and Personal ruleset.

With the current price of $0.8 per card, it seems it could perform even better and gain more popularity.

Anachron Bolter: Here's another card with double attack, although it lacks in stats, as for the cost of 8 mana, we have two Ranged and Magic attacks of only 1 point each, 1 Armor, 3 Speed, and 6 Health, with the Headwinds ability, which at level 6 adds the Repair ability.

Its price today is $0.83, but given the fact that its Headwinds ability (which inflicts -1 on opponent's ranged attacks) is very useful in challenges with the Going the Distance ruleset, it might perform better in the future.

Anasth Soothsayer: A card costing 6 mana, of the Water element, which is showing its value on the field, not so much for the stats, which are a bit underwhelming, but for its team support abilities.

Cleanse, Tank Heal, Lookout, Dispel, and Dodge are the abilities that Anasth Soothsayer gains in its level upgrades, offering a complete package of help to all its teammates.

At the price of $1.35 per card, it's a real bargain.

Moxian Rebel: A neutral card costing only 4 mana, it has very low stats, and only gains two abilities in its upgrades, yet it's gaining good feedback from players who have seen its value in battle.

Its strength lies undoubtedly in the Weapons Training ability, and the fact that, costing only 4 mana, it can be used in challenges with the Little League ruleset: in this type of battle, monsters without attack but with high Health values or interesting abilities can be deployed next to Moxian, and they also gain an attack point.

Currently priced at $2.34, having at least a couple of copies is a must.

Avina of the Wolf: The second most successful summoner of the rebellion edition, Avina of the Wolf, of the Life element, can increase the Speed by +2 for 2 monsters on her own team, or can grant the Heal ability to a single teammate.

The Heal ability is one of the most fundamental on the Splinterlands battlefield; for example, given to the Tank card, it allows us to keep that card alive for much longer, so Avina of the Wolf is a good solution in some types of challenges.

Its price exceeds many epic cards, reaching $2.1 per card; it's definitely one of the most appreciated Rebellion summoners by players.

Grimbardun Smith:

Amazing !!!
A rare card that surpasses the price of two legendary cards and ranks 15th overall, with a current price of $6.51 per card.

Grimbardun Smith, a promo card from the Rebellion pre-sale, has an excellent ratio between mana cost and stats offered: indeed, for only 6 mana, it offers no attack but 10 Health points and 3 Armor.

Moreover, at its maximum upgrade (level 8), it gains 4 abilities, unfortunately none of them new: Immunity, Void, Shield, and Repair, making it an excellent alternative in the Tank position because it's a great bulwark that withstands opponent attacks well, but with Repair, it restores Armor points to the teammate who has lost the most.

Being a neutral card, it can be even more useful when encountering the new ruleset Shadows of Gray.

I always study the market carefully because changes are sudden, and there may always be an opportunity to make a deal, not always among legendary cards, but also with rare ones, as we have seen in this post.

Ciao a tutti amici di Splinterlands !!!

Stanno succedendo cose incredibili nel mercato delle carte di Splinterlands in questi giorni, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la nuova edizione di carte Rebellion: non so se è una cosa momentanea, immagino di sì, ma alcune carte rare hanno superato in classifica carte epiche, ed addirittura carte leggendarie.

Non so se sia dovuto al fatto dell'introduzione di nuovi ruleset, come Shadows of Gray, che ha fatto aumentare la quotazione delle carte Neutrali, oppure può essere dovuto che ci stiamo avvicinando all'halving di Bitcoin, e lo staff di Splinterlands ha organizzato una vendita speciale , per festeggiare l'evento, di due carte nuove, Baron Fyatt e Henchling Enforcer.

Siamo sicuri che queste novità incendieranno il mercato, anche se i numeri che vediamo oggi saranno ,quasi sicuramente, momentanei.

Oggi, nel Splinterlands Social Media Challenge di questa settimana, voglio fare un analisi, insieme a voi, delle 6 carte rare più vendute della nuova edizione Rebellion, e se il loro prezzo è in linea con la loro prestazione in campo.

Underboss Fabino: i nuovi evocatori Rebellion sono sicuramente innovativi, però noi giocatori dobbiamo ancora capire come sfruttarli a pieno, ed uno dei più gettonati è proprio Underboss Fabino, evocatore dell'elemento Earth che dà la possibilità di scegliere tra un +2 in melee per due mostri della propria squadra, oppure applicare Poisoned ad una carta avversaria.

Il +2 in melee è ottimo nel gruppo Earth, perchè ci sono tanti mostri con questo tipo di attacco ,e può far particolarmente comodo nelle sfide con il ruleset Up, Close and Personal.

Con la quotazione, oggi, di 0,8$ per carta, sembra possa fare ancora meglio e guadagnare più popolarità.

Anachron Bolter: Ecco un altra carta con il doppio attacco, anche se è qualche carenza nelle stats, infatti , per il costo di 8 mana abbiamo due attacchi Ranged e Magic da solo 1 punto ciascuno, 1 di Armor, 3 di Speed e 6 di Health, con l'abilità Headwinds, a cui poi si aggiunge, al livello 6, l'abilità Repair.

Il suo prezzo di oggi è 0,83$, ma dato il fatto che la sua abilità Headwinds (che infligge -1 gli attacchi ramged avversari), è molto utile nelle sfide con il ruleset Going the Distance, potrebbe togliersi qualche soddisfazione in futuro.

Anasth Soothsayer: carta dal costo di 6 mana , dell'elemento Water, che sta facendo vedere il suo valore in campo, non tanto per le stats che sono un po' sottotono, ma per le sue abilità di supporto a tutta la squadra.

Cleanse, Tank Heal, Lookout, Dispel e Dodge, sono le abilità che Anasth Soothsayer guadagna nei suoi potenziamenti di livello, e offrono un pacchetto completo di aiuto a tutti i suoi compagni di squadra.

Al prezzo di 1,35$ per carta è un vero affare.

Moxian Rebel: carta neutrale dal costo di soli 4 mana, possiede stats molto basse, e ottiene solo due abilità nei suoi potenziamenti, eppure sta guadagnando un buon riscontro tra i giocatori , che hanno visto il suo valore in battaglia.

Il suo punto forte è, senza dubbio, l'abilità Weapons Training, e il fatto che, costando solo 4 mana, può essere utilizzata nelle sfide con il ruleset Little League: in questo tipo di battaglia, dunque, possono essere schierati mostri senza attacco ma con alti valori di Health o abilità interessanti, vicino a Moxian, e così anche loro guadagnano un punto di attacco.

Oggi quotata a 2,34$, averne almeno un paio di copie è un must.

Avina of the Wolf: il secondo evocatore più di successo dell'edizione rebellion, Avina of the Wolf, dell'elemento Life, può aumentare lo Speed di +2 per 2 mostri della prorpia squadra, oppure può donare l'abilità Heal ad un solo compagno di squadra.

L'abilità Heal è una della più fondamentali sul campo di battaglia di Splinterlands, donato per esempio alla carta che abbiamo in posizione Tank ci consente di mantenere in vita quella carta per molto più tempo, quindi Avina of the Wolf si propone come una buona soluzione in alcuni tipi di sfide.

La sua quotazione supera molte carte epiche, arrivando a 2,1 $ per carta, è sicuramente una degli evocatori Rebellion più apprezzati dai giocatori.

Grimbardun Smith:

Incredibile !!!
Una carta rara che supera di quotazione due carte leggendarie e si piazza al 15° posto nella classifica generale, con un prezzo odierno di 6,51$ per carta.

Grimbardun Smith, promo card della pre-sale Rebellion, ha un ottimo rapporto tra costo in mana e stats offerti: infatti, per solo 6 mana, non offre nessun attacco, ma ben 10 punti di Health e 3 di Armor.

Inoltre , al suo massimo potenziamento (livello 8), ottiene 4 abilità, di cui, purtroppo, nessuna di quelle nuove: Immunity, Void, Shield e Repair, lo rendono un ottima alternativa nella posizione Tank, perchè è un ottimo baluardo che resiste bene agli attacchi avversari, ma con Repair, ridona punti Armor al compagno di squadra che ne ha persi di più.

Essendo una carta neutrale, può tornare ancora più utile quando incontriamo il nuovo ruleset Shadows of Gray.

Studio sempre con attenzione il mercato, perchè i cambiamenti sono repentini, e può sempre presentarsi un'opportunità per fare un affare, non sempre tra le carte leggendarie, ma anche con quelle rare, come abbiamo visto in questo post.
