Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Tips for beginners on Lands and Cards

When I am contacted by new Splinterlands players or Hive users who would like to join the game, I can certainly sense some confusion in their words. This confusion arises from the fact that this platform has expanded so much over the years. For beginners, it is challenging to understand how to take their first steps and, more importantly, how to invest in their first cards to achieve some victories, at least in the Bronze league, where one begins to earn a little something, creating a minimum prospect of ROI compared to the initial investment.

The introduction of phase 1.5 of Lands has aroused great interest, even among beginners. They wonder whether they should buy one or more plots of land. Many decentralized blockchain games have introduced the buying and selling of lands within their ecosystem. It's a way to secure an asset that can generate profits, similar to owning real estate in the physical world.

Splinterlands Lands, with their 3 resources Grain, Sps, and Research, aim to be much more than simple assets. In the upcoming phases, they should become fundamental components of the game. Prices have dropped significantly recently. Today, I checked the market, and you can find Common lands for about $25, making it a very affordable price even for a beginner.

However, be cautious! Lands require a lot of study and additional resources to start your production. You'll need a good supply of DEC and Grain, along with monsters to turn into Farmers. Ideally, having 2 lands close to each other or at least in the same Region would be beneficial. This way, you can transfer resources without paying transportation fees. Keep in mind that each Harvest costs a quantity in Grain to feed your Farmers. Relying solely on SPS production in the hope of earning immediately may not work in the long run.

My advice on this matter for beginners is this: first, think about the cards. Build a strong deck that can lead you to win battles. You can start with the new card edition Rebellion, which offers interesting monsters at reasonable prices. Also, research past editions to find real bargains, cards that cost relatively little but offer a lot in challenges.

For example, I really like the summoners from the Chaos Legion edition. In my opinion, they are a Must-Have for every Splinterlands player, starting with beginners: Tarsa, Obsidian, Thaddius Brood, General Sloan, Keyla Frendul are summoners that cost only 4 mana but provide buffs and debuffs on the field that can completely change the course of the game. Even in the most competitive leagues, they are often used.

For only 30 cents per card, you can quickly upgrade these summoners to high power levels, giving you fewer restrictions on the cards you can summon in battles.

In conclusion, I advise beginners to keep an eye on Lands because they will undoubtedly be a fundamental piece of the Splinterlands puzzle in the future. However, as a first step, they should focus on expanding their card collection, aiming to become as competitive as possible.

Quando vengo contattato da nuovi giocatori di Splinterlands, o da utenti di Hive che vorrebbero entrare nel gioco, sicuramente riesco a leggere nelle loro parole un po' di confusione, dato dal fatto che questa piattaforma si è talmente espansa durante gli anni, è molto difficile per un principiante capire come iniziare a muovere i primi passi, e soprattutto, come investire nelle sue prime carte per arrivare a vincere qualche vittoria perlomeno in lega Bronze, dove si inizia a guadagnare qualcosina, anche por avere un minimo di prospetto di un ROI rispetto all'investimento iniziale.

L'introduzione della fase 1.5 delle Lands ha destato un grandissimo interessamento , anche nei principianti, che si chiedono se dovrebbero acquistare uno, o forse più, appezzamenti di terreno : molti giochi decentralizzati su Blockchain hanno introdotto la compravendita di Lands all'interno del loro ecosistema, è un modo di assicurarsi un asset che può generare dei profitti come se si fosse proprietari di bene immobile nel mondo reale.

Le Lands di Splinterlands, con le loro 3 resources Grain, Sps e Research, si propongono come molto più di semplici asset, ma dovrebbero diventare nelle prossima fasi, dei componenti fondamentali del gioco.
I prezzi sono molto scesi nell'ultimo periodo, oggi ho controllato il mercato e si trovano dei terreni Common a circa 25 dollari, quindi un prezzo molto abbordabile anche per un principiante.

Attenzione però!
Le Lands hanno bisogno di tanto studio e di tante risorse aggiuntive per poter partire con la vostra produzione: avrete bisogno di una bella riserva di DEC e Grain, oltre a dei mostri da far diventare Farmers.
Inoltre, l'ideale sarebbe avere 2 Lands una vicina all'altra, o , perlomeno, nella stessa Regione, così potete trasferire risorse senza pagare le Fee di trasporto: dovete calcolare, infatti, che ogni Harvest costa un quantitativo in Grain da pagare per alimentare i vostri Farmer, quindi basare tutto sulla produzione di SPS nella speranza di guadagnare subito, non può funzionare sul lungo periodo.

Il mio consiglio sull'argomento per i principianti è questo: prima di tutto pensate alle carte, dovete costruirvi un mazzo forte che possa portarvi a vincere qualche battaglia , e potete già iniziare dalla nuova edizione di carte Rebellion che offre dei mostri interessanti a dei bei prezzi.
Poi, dovreste fare delle ricerche anche nelle edizioni passate per scovare dei veri e propri affari, delle carte che costano relativamente poco ma che vi danno tantissimo in sfida.

Per esempio, a me piacciono tantissimo gli evocatori dell'edizione Chaos Legion, e secondo me sono un Must-Have per ogni giocatore su Splinterlands, ad iniziare dai principianti: Tarsa, Obsidian, Thaddius Brood, General Sloan, Keyla Frendul sono evocatori che costano soltanto 4 mana, ma che danno dei buffs e debuffs sul campo che possono cambiare completamente le sorti della partita, tanto che , anche nelle leghe più competitive vengono usati molto spesso.

Al costo di solo 30 centesimi per carta, potete subito portare questi evocatori a dei livelli di potenziamento molto alti, così avrete meno limit sulle carte che potrete evocare nelle battaglie.

Per concludere, dico ai principianti di tenere d'occhio le Lands, perchè sicuramente in futuro saranno un pezzo fondamentale del puzzle di Splinterlands, ma come prima cosa dovrebbero concentrarsi sull'espandere la loro collezione di carte, cercando di diventare il più competitivi possibile.
