【ENG】

My 4 year old second son is basically a gentle, calm child.

He is usually smiling and rarely gets angry, and has never gotten into trouble at daycare. When we went home for the New Year's holiday, he was pulled by his hair, bit and scratched by his 2-year-old cousin, but he still never got angry or cried. At home, he is the type who quietly builds blocks and plays by himself.

He is such a calm second son...but somehow he loves Splinterlands soooo much that he changes into a different person when it comes to this game. He sits on his dad's lap, watching the battles, and talks loudly and continuously. For example...

When the opponent submits "DJINN OSHANNUS" (Legendary card in water unit),

"Hey, hey, you can't win if you only have OSHANNUS!"

Pointing to the IGOR DARKSPEAR, he said,

"Ah~? You're Bruno Mars, aren't you!?"

Bruno Mars? Sure, I've played some of his songs on Youtube and stuff... Are they similar? No, they don't look alike at all🤣🤣

When Dad wins the battle,

"Ha ha ha...! Don't think you can beat me!"

The way he talks is like those old men who boo at a baseball stadium or a racetrack. The volume of his voice is about 2.5 times louder and very noisy. It is as if he is a different person than he usually is.

Grandma was surprised and said,

"Why does he become like that when he sees playing that game? Usually he is so quiet..."

She tilted her head. Why... I don't know either. I don't think Splinterlands is a game that evokes such ferociousness....

One strange thing is that my second son calls Splinterlands "Steem Monsters!" no matter how many times I correct him. no matter how many times I correct him. Indeed, it used to be Steem Monsters, and I may have been calling it that for a while after the game title changed. But that was a long time ago. I've been calling it "Splinterlands" ever since my second son started speaking. That's curious.

Of course he cannot read English, but he seems to remember the battle rules and card abilities by icon.

"Damn! Magic doesn't work!" (Void ability)

"I can attack even from behind!" (Sneak ability)

"We're flying, we're not afraid of earthquakes!" (Fly ability or earthquake rule)

He shouts at the computer screen like this. His father also shouts angrily, "I can't see the screen! "😂

He also understands the basic rules of the game. For example, melee attack cards are placed in the front, ranged attack cards are placed in the back, magic cards can attack from anywhere, etc. I am impressed that a four-year-old is more intelligent than I thought he was.

He seems to love Splinterlands anyway, so when he is old enough to Play to Earn, I will definitely have him play more and more and earn a lot of money. I am a little worried about the change in personality, though.

バトル相手がDJINN OSHANNUS(ウォーター属性のレジェンダリーカード)を出すと、

IGOR DARKSPEAR

😂Haha! That’s so interesting. It’s like he has a different personality when playing the game. Sounds like he really likes it. I like that he’s naturally calm. That’s admirable. 😃

His passion for Splinterlands is soooo much greater than mine! He loves to look at the cards and examine their abilities. Perhaps because he is a boy?
Maybe because he is usually quiet, I feel very noisy while he is watching the game. But that's okay, he seems to be having a lot of fun😉

I think it’s interesting to see what draws kids’ attention or what they’re passionate about. I understand that because he’s usually quiet, it seems a bit noisy when he’s playing. Lol

He loves to look at the cards and examine their abilities. Perhaps because he is a boy?

Could be but maybe that’s just his thing, his interest. 😃

You may be right☺️My older is also a boy, but he is not as into this game as my second son. My second son seems to be more focused on various things than my older son.

Interesting how they grew up in the same home, yet have very different abilities and preferences😁

I have 2 boys as well. The older is calm, the second is more talkative. They are however both loud when they’re playing with each other. Sometimes too noisy. The funny thing is that when they are out, they are so quiet. People always ask how is it that they are so well-behaved. They have no idea how loud they are at home. 😂🤣🤣
The younger one really likes making things. He’ll even try to make something from the trash from his snacks. He’ll rather make something than do his homework. I enjoy making stuff too but he really has the eye and knack for it. The older one likes Rubik’s cubes but likes to try a bit of everything.

Yes, it’s really interesting how they have different preferences and personalities. 😃🥰
