Because the US dollar is losing its dominance in many corners of the world due to many international affairs, and the two largest populated countries India nad China are also bypassing USD in their international trade. Yeah, I think the US digital currency can bring the change again, but it can also do reversely to implement a totally new currency or just a digital form of the existing USD. Let's see what happens, but as a common man, to much traditional cash, as savings is not a good idea as in our country, people are losing money when accumulating in the bank due to high inflation in the daily necessary thins, which has crossed 100% what was in 2018 in last 6 years in many products!
