The Death team was once something of nightmares. Let them never get a summoner to make the monsters stronger. It seems living in the dying world makes you strong and sneaky. Magi Necrosi fits the bill perfectly and is the monster in the share your battle challenge. Make sure you check out the Challenge here if you want to take part in this. It is fun to talk about a card and a battle.

Magi Necrosi is a Death Mage that works well in a lot of leagues. For starters, it has 2 damage at level 1 which is a big deal to make sure it is doing damage to void monsters. Then add in it is a sniper that also has camo and he is a killing force in a lot of games. The weakness of the card maybe is that it only gets up to 3 damage it is nice it does it at level 3 but the 3rd ability is why I think it gets stuck at 3. Oppress makes it deadly to anyone in the back with no attack. The new Soulbound Epic cards gave him more value for the team. Then if you are a diamond player he is a monster that stuns guys in the back row and that can be huge. Stop a healer for healing or pop a back row card providing a buff or debuff to your team and it can swing the battle. 4 speed is solid but I do wish it was faster. Faster stuns can win games. Fast snipers can win games and this card is both. Now I only use it at level 1 fighting in silver but I do have 2 copies and maybe it is time to push him to level 2 now that I got my Thaddius to level 3. The Line Up

You can see that his match was a blast rule set where we could only bring mages to the game. I think we went with the 2 summoners that come to mind right away. Either go Thaddius to weaken the mages or Obsidian to buff them. Here it comes down to the HP of your mages and the damage. Also, one major thing is speed. This is what lead me to go with death. While the regal peryton is fast it is weak. Plus the death team has 2 mages with life leech. You can see that on my team I have no 1-speed guys and he has 2 plus he has 3 at 2 speed same as mine but two of mine are epic. Then I got two 3-speed and the Magi is 4. The big thing is my life leech guys are going to gain 2 life in each attack and this is what makes my team much strong than it looks. Sure some of you think that 11 HP monster is going to win for sure. Let's find out.

Round 1

With the summoner buffs. You can see attacks stay the same but he loses 6 hp. It is almost like my summoner shot them all to start the battle that is key to what will happen here. Regal will attack first and sure he gets my Sapper down to 1 hp but then it is mine team to attack 5 times in a row speed changes the game fast. My Magi goes first, then Sapper back to 3 hp, Venari up to 6 hp Magi and Revealer go next and that kills off the Regal with 5 blast damage sure the Slipspwan is still up taking only 7 damage. But the Revealer stunned him before it got to attack. This changes the round a lot like I said before early stuns can win games. Now he only has 2 2-speed guys attacking with 2 damage. My 2-speed guy attacks and does one damage to the Eleven mistic also. He does get a heal off and his 1-speed attackers finish off my Magi of Chaos and the Life Sapper but only deal one damage to my Venari. We now head into round 2.

Round 2

If you are not looking at speeds youmight think that I am in trouble now. It is 5 on 4 right. Ionly got 5 damage to attack with he has 7. Yet I am about to take over and anyone that looks at the speed understands why. The first attack goes to Magi Necrosi and his blast kills off the Elevan Mystic. next goes the Venair putting him up to 7 hp and hitting the Spellsmith down to one with his blast. Then the Reavler goes next because he is epic. His blast kills this spellsmith and puts the slipspwan down to 1 hp. Here is where I get lucky not that I needed but I win the speed check on rare 2-speed monsters and my Spellsmith kills the slipspwan before it can attack. Yup, it never swung with that 2 damage attack. THe round ends with his tow attacks but they can't kill anyone on my lineup now.

Round 3

Time to wrap this up. For the first time now that the Taunt is off the board my Magi Necrosi gets to Snipe. It could have ben fun to have him sniping in a blast game but the tuant did counter that. Yet at last to start this round I killed the princess in the back and deal one damage to the goblin. After that my guys are fast they all hit him for one and the battle is over.

It was nice to get a solid win. One where my sniper got countered but the main reason for going with death is the faster mages. That worked out perfectly along with a stun from the revealer. Add into that the life-leeching blast attacks and I won this game easily Make sure you sign up to play Splinterlands and earn money while you do it. And even more if you post about it.
