All My Earnings, All Started from Splinterlands

My success in the blockchain was all started from Splinterlands.

I am an avid NBA card collector like Panini NBA cards. I buy packs and cards from Ebay store. Pulled and bought some good ones and
kept them and hoping that they will become my investment for my retirement. Indeed those cards specially the low numbered one from
great players in their rookie year had a huge increase in value over time. To mention a few players that I have in their rookie years
is Lebron James, Luka Doncic, Kobe Bryant and no Michael Jordan. Can't afford the great cards of MJ of his rookie year. I mean the great
cards listed on ebay when I started out collecting cards 7 years ago.

Then, by 2019 I got bored with collecting NBA Cards and waiting for that next good player (A goat) to come out. So I search google for
tradiing cards online. And Splinterlands came out from the search. It says NFT game. That time I still don't know what is an NFT game.
Whats in my mind was just a new idea by the creator of splinterlands to come out of a new game. It says digital collecting game.
And I was thinking to myself, I think this will not hit the market since it is digital and is not numbered not like
physical NBA trading cards that if you get numbered cards from great players. Most likely your card over time will really profit.

But I went to Splinterlands website and found out that it was selling (The Beta Packs) for only $2 per pack and I can buy it through
PayPal which is very very convenient to me. So I did purchase 20 packs for $40 and opened those packs and pulled several gold foil cards
from that pack. Some are gold foil common cards and i got 1 legendary Spirit of the forest level 2 gold foil card and 1 cerberus gold foil
card level 6.

Unfortunately I got some other gold foil cards also but just that I don't use them in battle, I just burned them (huhuhuhu).
By that time the name of splinterlands was Monsters and then later they changed it to Splinterlands. Also by that time,
there was no much value yet for DEC token since it was not listed yet in Coingecko and there was no exchange platform yet for DEC token.
So i got bored with the game knowing that it takes so long also to find another player when clicking Battle. Since there were not so many
active players yet and sometime it makes an error "No found player". One good thing about the game before is that your level will always
be match with the same level. Not like nowadays when you get to silver and gold rank you will be match with a very very high rank level.
Which is for me is unfair. It is always a mismatch and very obvious if you have a level 2 summoner and be match with a 4/5 level summoner.
You can never win with those sets of cards.

Anyway after playing with it for 1 or 2 months plus, I got bored since there is no way to sell the cards, only on the in-game market and
can't put my money back to my bank wallet.
And thought that this digital card specially not numbered cards will not hit the market.

So since that time until June 2021, I heard from a Philippine local news that a young teenager manage to buy a house and lot just
playing an NFT Game called AXIE Infinity. Because of the word NFT Game. I remembered that I have played an nft game. I was in a hurry
trying to open my email and scroll of nft game and found it. But I said, it was a different game. But still I checked it and very
fortunate that I saved all my passwords and keys. When I log-in, I was shock since there are so many cards already selling in the ingame
marketplace. And went to facebook and found so many groups for splinterlands and they are selling so much.

Then I checked my account for gold foils. I have several of them, then I automatically try to sell my Cerebrus level 6 gold foil card
with a price of $2,500. Then for 1week it was not sold. Then relist it again after a week for $2,300 after 3days it was not sold still.
This time, I said to myself this is too good to be true. Imagine I bought all 20 packs for only $40 and now one card will sell this much?
Then I saw level 1 Cerberus gold foil cards are selling $2,000 then I tried my level 6 to match their prices hoping this time it will be
sold. I listed it for $2,000 level 6 cerberus gold foil against several level 1 for same price. Then when I wake up the next day. I was
shocked that it was sold. Then immediately I exchange half of the DEC tokens to swap.hive and send it to my keychain then from my keychain
sent those hive tokens to binance and sold it in binance and tadaaa! money is in my bank wallet. I was so so happy.

Next month, I sold also my Gold Foil Legendary "Spirit of the Forest" for $4,000. I feel so lucky like hitting a lottery. In my life,
I have never received a reward so huge like that. Just from the initial investment of $40.

Then all other gold foil cards follows next and next. So I earned almost $6k all from the beta packs and playing and playing splinterlands.

So from splinterlands earnings. I invested to some other NFT games like dcrops. So all my investment cost to start other NFT games was all
coming from Splinterlands.
