Introduction

As commented on Greengineer (2022-a), Summoners Yodin Zaku and Llama Mage are so powerful that they can sometimes ignore game rules like Earthquake and Noxious Fumes.

I usually try to counterattack the users of these cards but there are times when their history does not denounce that they could be used, as was the case with the match in this post. Even so, I won the victory by assembling a team immune to the Earthquake rule.

The strategy before the battle

The game in question had the Earthquake and Broken Arrows rules active, 29 MP available, and only the Water and Death Splinters were disabled. My opponent's history used several compositions, showing no addiction to a particular strategy. Soon I would have to assemble a team focused only on match conditions so, as Earthquake was active, I sought to use a team with the Flying ability without using Summoner Brighton Bloom.

In Life Splinter I had several cards with Flying, so I chose him with Tyrus Palladium as a summoner. As a tank I selected Uriel The Purifier with Recharge and Heal, in third position Celestial Harpy with Opportunity, in fourth position the Light Elemental and in fifth position the Adelade Brightwing. With the remaining 02 MP I put the Pelacor Conjurer in second position with Magic Reflect.

Once assembled the team was hoping that the Flying skill was enough to hold me in the match.

The battle

My opponent came in with Llama Mage, putting Flesh Golem in second position with Heal, Failed Summoner in third position with Magic Reflect, Wood Nymph in fourth position with Tank Heal, and Kron The Undying in last position with Heal. And as a tank, he put the 0 MP cost Fungus Fiend to summon.

He didn't care about the Earthquake rule, using only the Heal ability to stay in the game. With high MP for summoning, I don't usually expect the use of Llama Mage, unless my opponent's history reveals it, so I confess that I was taken by surprise and without artifices to eliminate Kron before he activated the Last Stand buff.

In the first round the Fungus Fiend was eliminated. My Uriel had lost some health, but he was overwhelmingly charged with his attack for the next round.

2 Round Llama Eartquake.png

In the second round the Flesh Golem went down with my Uriel's attack.

3 Round Llama Eartquake.png

In the third round the Wood Nymph died from Earthquake damage and the Failed Conjurer went down next. Kron The Undying activated Last Stand, threatening my entire team with its high HP combined with its Heal skill.

4 Round Llama Eartquake.png

In the fourth round my Uriel fell with Kron's attack, but was revived by Adelade.

5 Round Llama Eartquake.png

In the fifth round Uriel left the game for good and the attack power of my allies was equal to the amount of HP that Kron would recover per turn. But I still had Earthquake's damage and my Pelacor Conjurer's Magic Reflect to counter it.

6 Round Llama Eartquake.png

In the sixth round, Pelacor Conjurer returned 03 damage to Kron, helping to reduce this monster's health.

7 Round Llama Eartquake.png

In the seventh round the Pelacor Conjurer returned 03 more damage but died in the process, but his allies managed to eliminate Kron before he healed again, granting me the victory.

7-2 Round Llama Eartquake.png

This match could have turned into a defeat if I hadn't put the Pelacor Conjurer as a second tank. When I put him in the position I tried to balance one of Uriel's weaknesses which is not having abilities to counter the magic damage and it worked.

I hope you enjoyed the game and if you want to follow it in detail, just follow it on Greengineer (2022-b).

PS: Sorry if there is any error in the above writing, as English is not my mother language.

A batalha

2 Round Llama Eartquake.png

3 Round Llama Eartquake.png

4 Round Llama Eartquake.png

5 Round Llama Eartquake.png

6 Round Llama Eartquake.png

7 Round Llama Eartquake.png

7-2 Round Llama Eartquake.png
