Introduction

Another weekly challenge launched (Splinterlands, 2022), again about dragons.

In the last challenge of this type I posted a battle with Summoner Brighton Bloom that provides the Flying skill to all allies (Greengineer, 2022-a). This time I will present a battle with Summoner Daria Dragonscale:

Daria provides +1 melee damage to all allies, making it very interesting when combined with Splinters who don't have this type of buff on their Summoners (all except Fire).

The strategy before the battle

The game didn't allow the use of monsters with magic attack and they all had the Knock out ability. Earth Splinter was disabled and there were 38 MP available. I was ready to assemble a team by combining Lorna Shine with various monsters with the Sneak skill like in Greengineer (2022-b), but looking at my opponent's history I realized that he had several battles with Summoner Camila Sungazer, which reduces 01 melee damage from all enemy monsters. As my Sneak team was based on melee attack I needed to neutralize this debuff and for that I had Daria Dragonscale as mentioned before.

As a tank I chose Uriel The Purifier. In the second position I placed the Silvershield Knight with its Inspire ability. In the third, fourth, fifth and sixth positions I placed my Sneak team, composed by the monsters Silvershield Assassin, Stitch Leech, Elven Cutthroat and Feral Spirit respectively.

Once assembled, the team was hoping that my opponent didn't attack my rear with the same force as I did.

The battle

My opponent came with Summoner Camila Sungazer, neutralizing my Daria's buff. In the first position he used Djinn Chwala, in the second and third positions he put the Silvershield Assassin and Uraeus with Sneak, and in the fourth, fifth and sixth positions he put a trio with ranged attack, composed by Pelacor Arbalest, Venari Crystalsmith and the Hero of Beyond.

My Uriel would have the difficult mission of holding off the attack of 04 monsters while I tried to eliminate the enemy backline.

At the end of the first round I lost my Feral Spirit, but my enemy ran out of his Hero of Beyond. Uriel dodged several attacks and remained firm in the dispute.

In the second round I lost Elven Cutthroat and Stitch Leech, but took my opponent's Venari Crystalsmith and Pelacor Arbalest. My Uriel was still alive and had already removed the Djinn Chwala's shield.

In the third round I eliminated my opponent's Uraeus and my Silvershield Assassin was about to be shot down.

During the fourth round I lost my Silvershield Assassin but Uriel destroyed the Djinn Chwala.

It took another four rounds before my Uriel could finish off the last enemy alive.

Analyzing the battle it is noted that if my tank had fallen at the beginning I would have serious problems. My initial strategy was to eliminate my opponent by attacking relentlessly from behind, but since I didn't use Lorna Shine or Tyrus Paladium, I lost my Sneak team before eliminating my opponent's second position. Had it not been for Uriel and his colossal attack I might have lost the match.

Introdução

Mais um desafio semanal lançado (Splinterlands, 2022), novamente sobre dragões.

No último desafio deste tipo postei uma batalha com o Summoner Brighton Bloom que fornece a habilidade Flying para todos os aliados (Greengineer, 2022-a). Desta vez vou apresentar uma batalha com a Summoner Daria Dragonscale:

A Daria fornece +1 de dano melee para todos os aliados, tornando-se muito interessante quando combinada aos Splinters que não possuem este tipo de buff em seus Summoners (todos exceto o de Fogo).

A estratégia antes da batalha

A partida não permitia o uso de monstros com ataque mágico e todos possuíam a habilidade Knock out. O Splinter da Terra estava desabilitado e haviam 38 de MP disponíveis. Eu estava pronto para montar um time combinando a Lorna Shine com vários monstros com a habilidade Sneak como em Greengineer (2022-b), mas observando o histórico de meu oponente percebi que o mesmo possuía diversas batalhas com a Summoner Camila Sungazer, que reduz 01 do dano melee de todos os monstros inimigos. Como meu time Sneak era baseado em ataque melee eu precisava neutralizar este debuff e para isto contei com a Daria Dragonscale como comentado anteriomente.

Como tanque escolhi o Uriel The Purifier. Na segunda posição coloquei o Silvershield Knight com sua habilidade Inspiry. Nas terceira, quarta, quinta e sexta posições coloquei minha equipe Sneak, composta pelos monstros Silvershield Assassin, Stitch Leech, Elven Cutthroat e Feral Spirit respectivamente.

Uma vez montada a equipe era torcer que meu oponente não atacasse minha retaguarda com a mesma força que eu.

A batalha

Meu oponente veio com a Summoner Camila Sungazer, neutralizando o buff de minha Daria. Na primeira posição ele utilizou a Djinn Chwala, nas segunda e terceira posições ele colocou a Silvershield Assassin e o Uraeus com Sneak, e nas quarta, quinta e sexta posições ele colocou um trio com ataque à distância, composto pelo Pelacor Arbalest, a Venari Crystalsmith e o Hero of Beyond.

Meu Uriel teria a difícil missão de segurar o ataque de 04 monstros enquanto eu tentava eliminar a backline inimiga.

No final do primeiro round eu perdi meu Feral Spirit, mas meu inimigo ficou sem seu Hero of Beyond. O Uriel desviou de vários ataques e seguia firme na disputa.

No segundo round perdi o Elven Cutthroat e o Stitch Leech, mas levei a Venari Crystalsmith e o Pelacor Arbalest de meu oponente. Meu Uriel seguia vivo e já havia retirado todo os escudo da Djinn Chwala.

No terceiro round eliminei o Uraeus de meu oponente e minha Silvershield Assassin estava prestes a ser abatida.

Durante o quarto round eu perdi minha Silvershield Assassin mas o Uriel destruiu a Djinn Chwala.

Passou-se mais quatro rounds até que meu Uriel pudesse finalizar com o último inimigo vivo.

Analisando a batalha nota-se que se meu tanque tivesse caído no início eu teria sérios problemas. Minha estratégia inicial era eliminar meu oponente atacando de forma implacável na sua retaguarda, mas como não utilizei a Lorna Shine ou o Tyrus Paladium, perdi meu time Sneak antes de eliminar a segunda posição de meu oponente. Não fosse o Uriel e seu ataque colossal eu poderia ter perdido a partida.
