Even this cunning strategy fails against me!

"They expect me to play fairly, but we aren't even playing the same game." - Grand General Swain

Splinterlands

A strategic mastermind!

My opponent turned the common strategy of making a least-expected move into a reality. Placing a tank in the back and chariots in the front with missiles covered on all sides.

Don't count convenient warfare out just yet

I strategized in a more traditional fashion. With a terrifying monster up front, I expected to break the enemy's ranks. Crypt Beetle is a perfect tank to cover your back - cheap, protects you from the sneak attack. And spellcasters with missiles belong in the middle!

Ok, this was not very clever

Ye, this could have been expected. I won. Though it got me thinking - what about introducing 2 vs. 2 battles where you have to cover both sides? Would not that be cool?

Anyways, what about Centaur?

I no longer own a centaur. It used to be free, never had a reason to buy one. New pack cards are cheap and very good. I rarely played him back then, there are more powerful ranged monsters and there will always be!

Have a great day!
