Feel the dragon's fury!

I have always been a big fan of dragon splinter. Drake of Arnak offers armor to species that normally don't have any. This buff is critical in battles against most physical teams because a single armor negates at least one attack regardless of strength.

Give them the drubbing they will not soon forget!

Watch my battle where it had a game-deciding impact.

A single point in armor allows my Life Sapper to successfully survive Serpentine's strike. When his turn comes, he saps +1 HP from the Lava Monster giving it 3 HP total. In the backline, Soul Strangler also survives the first turn only thanks to the armor.

In the second turn, Soul Strangler dies. But if he died in the previous turn (which he would if it wasn't for Drake of Arnak), Life Sapper would too die now. It is thanks to armor that I get to keep Life Sapper to the third round!

It is quite straightforward from there. My tank, Djinn Chwala, stands alone against three melee challengers. But it's a dragon with a head-sized mace, a feasting dagger, and a suffocating tail. He also has thorns too, so it is balanced. I think it is mainly the thorns...

Anyway, this battle would be very different if it weren't for +1 Armor on every monster along with powerful Thorns ability on my tank (who also happens to be a dragon).

Valuations of Djinn Chwala

You don't need to get Drake of Arnak, he is part of the starting pack. You may consider buying Djinn Chwala who is still the strongest thorns card.

Djinn Chwala is especially strong against melee monsters. Should win any low-mana game as long as people keep using melee tanks.

The price dropped from $5 roughly a month ago to $2.1 it costs now. Cheap as it is, I think it will only get cheaper with a great many cards going to be unpacked in the next two months.

The disadvantage is only that you have to use a dragon summoner to get its value out of it. So it's only worth it if you are lucky on dragon quests, I guess!

Share too your battles to demonstrate your strategic ingenuity and earn some change!

Thanks for sharing! - @lenonmc21

That's great, but try a little harder to explain your strategy and the reason for each card chosen in your lineup.
