It's Just Little Ol' Me, Underdog

In my favorite Battle Of The Day today my gold level team faced an opposing team that was all max level cards. Fighting my way up the ranking ladder all season long means that as I get into the higher levels I'm often the underdog in these battles. I don't mind especially when the battle ends up as this one did.

At the start of the match both teams rained down attacks on the opposing tanks. The tanks didn't stand a chance with all that firepower targeting them and both were gone before the end of the round.

Round 2 started with Fineas Rage striking quickly to take out the opposing Skeleton Assassin. A little healing from the Beetle Queen and Fineas was as good as new. That's when the cracks started showing in my opponents battle plan. His Twisted Jester did what twisted jesters do and continuously sniped my secondary. This took some of the pressure off my Fineas Rage and allowed him to survive the round.

As Round 3 began, Fineas succumbed to the poison he was inflicted with in Round 2, but he had done his job well and protected my ranged attackers. Sleep well Fineas you've earned a rest until you are summoned again. Once more the Twisted Jester attempted to Snipe my Fire Elemental, but missed the faster monster and a chance to at least reach a stalemate. My Ettin sealed the matches fate by striking down my opponents Dark Astronomer.

Even though Round 4 started with my Ettin expiring from poison, I still had the advantage since the Twisted Jester was no longer able to attack. And while it would take two more round before I could finish it off, Victory was mine!
