SplinterRents: Let your Splinterlands cards work for you!
Hi all,
We are very excited to announce the launch of SplinterRents.
About SplinterRents
SplinterRents is a rental service that places your Splinterlands cards on the rental market for the right price. This is not only increasing the daily DEC that you earn from your cards, but also saving you time in managing your rentals!
The goal of SplinterRents
SplinterRents is here to maximize your Return on Assets (ROA)
After some conversations with people that rent out their cards, we found out that the ROA is the most important aspect. SplinterRents list your cards for a price that is balanced between getting the highest price and the least amount of idle time. That combined with our low fee of 5%, maximizes your ROA.
How to start
We work with a discord server where you can sign-up, activate and manage your account(s) yourself. We cordially invite you to come and try it out for yourself.

Referral program
If you know others that could benefit from this service, make sure to invite them.
For every referee, you get 5% of the amount they pay in fees as long as your referee uses SplinterRents!

I guess you are aware of Rent Golem, which is now your competition. That saying.., it's good to have some of that. I will have a go at your service as I did with Golem. 5% sounds a lot more appealing.
Have you been using rent golem? I just signed up for it a few days ago and have mixed feelings about the service. I'd love to know how this service compares.

I tried Rent Golem one day and loved the interface. It must cost them something to maintain that and so I understand the fee, but for me who keeps a beady eye on my cards and cancellations I found no more DEC was being generated.
This on the other hand is just 5%, and if it can be as efficient as me, then I am willing to dish out 5% of my DEC to give me back that time.
Yeah the interface is nice but I'm also a micromanager of my cards so when they started dropping the prices of cards I know rent out for one price with ease, I wasn't too happy. My rentals did go up but I also signed up the day before the end of season so I'm not sure how much was them and how much was just end of season. I suspect more end of season.
The stupid thing is it didn't even give me my time back because I spent the whole time watching it to see what it did and how it compared and how its logic worked vs what I would do if I built my own !LOL

LOL, it seems quite capable, but the fees were too high. I will be watching this one in the same way. It's new so I will not expect perfect results. These things take time to fine tune.

This is obvious. Most people would like to earn the highest ROA. I am leasing out my Splinterlands cards on PeakMonsters for the cheapest prices to make them attractive.
The ROA is still good. Nowadays it is usually between 20% and 40%. Currently it is 19.70%.

The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago when the HBD stabilizer proposal rose above it.
