Hey All,

It’s been a long time since I last spoke about my stake in the governance token of the game Splinterlands, known as Splintershards aka #SPS. I have been silently building and compunding my #sps stake here and at present the APR [Annual Percentage Rate] is above 7%, making long-term accumulation even more rewarding. The more SPS I recevie all of it goes back to the staking pool.

Let me share a look at my #SPS stake and its current worth, especially with #SPS trading at an all time low. The entire stake here is worth $2.6K+ dollars and at one stage this was above $30K+ - if I can recall it correctly. So you can see how in the world of crypto things can quickly change. It’s a bit of a sad moment seeing the price of #SPS where it is right now - currently trading around $0.0060 with a marketcap touching almost $3+ Million.

Building #SPS Stake - Approaching 450K+ #SPS - My Strategy Ahead...

To be very honest to date I have just been - STAKING STAKING STAKING and STAKING all of my $SPS & have reached thus far where I have close to 420K+ $SPS staked and around 16K+ #SPS as in liquid form - which I will be further staking in some time. At first I was thinking to swap for #HIVE but then I was reluctant to do it considering the price of #SPS and hence all this 16K+ liquid #SPS will be further staked as I have made up my mind to reach a goal of having 500K+ #SPS staked. Yes, that is right - I am now targeting 500K+ SPS and that too by the end of this year, 2026. As part of my strategy, I will continue compounding rewards, accumulating during dips, and consistently increasing my stake month after month with a long-term perspective as I do believe in this amazing game Splinterlands that is built on the HIVE Blockchain. And before I end this post, I would just add and echo that I remain committed to the long-term vision and will continue building regardless of short-term price movements. I see no point in NOT staking SPS at these all time low prices... SPS to the Moon... But SPS is still being minted, and the liquidity keeps getting diluted. I just don’t understand what would realistically drive the price up 3–4x. If you do understand it — please explain it to me.

I’m holding SPS too, but the longer I hold something, the less it seems to be worth ))

When is it finally going to be our turn to celebrate? 🙂

I am not sure when our turn will come but at the moment it is disappointing to see the price at what #sps is trading... maybe soon. cheers

I get you. When you look at the current price, especially after having certain expectations, it’s easy to feel disappointed.
Let’s see how it unfolds. Sometimes “soon” arrives right when you stop waiting for it 🙂

So absolutely disappointing. I remember when it first launched an it was closer to $1. I guess the same could be said for HIVE too though. I don't do too much with mine, but even my validator node isn't earning me much either. It's pretty pathetic.

Right validator node is also not earning too much #sps.. the sad part is the price and we all need to accept this truth and move on with our plans... cheers

The key will be whether Splinterlands can grow its player base and utility around SPS. If the ecosystem strengthens, the accumulation phase could look very smart in hindsight.

Definately.. if the game can bring in more users definately the price for #sps will gain momemntum but then the question is will it sustain that level or not.. its like a wait an watch game and hope that in the next bull we see a decent price for SPS... cheers

Thats a Fat stake brotha, nice. I sit around 100k for a long time. Im glad the apr came up to 10%. I miss the crazy days when it was like 50% apr.

Right 50% APR were the good days and I did manage to accumulate a decent chunk during that time.. the sad part seeing #SPS trading at its all time low price..hope so we all will have our day to celebrate sooon. cheers

I meant to say it coming back to 7%, instead of the 6.8 or whatever it was. Yeah man, i didnt understand at that time, just how low it can go. Or how to make these types of things work best in our favor.

Too much to understand, the complexities, like what are we doing lol. Cant change the past, but if we can catch up somehow, through the staking, posting, dedication.

Keep rockin anyway, keep it simple, keep jammin with ur son, im gonna have to put another jam out 😄
