Its been a long time that I didn't participate in the - Splinterlands Social Media Challenge interested to know more about the challenge you can find the post here. Well in this post, I would be discussing about the various income streams that I have generated via the game Splinterlands here on the HIVE Blockchain. A quick refresher on Splinterlands: which is essentially a strategic trading card game that allows players to participate in battles against real opponents. The game features cards representing NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), and those who possess these cards are their true owners - #SPS is the governance token of the game and we have another in-game token which is #DEC. My involvement with Splinterlands began when the Beta SALE was launched. Since then, I've actively participated in the Splinterlands community, doing my best to contribute in various ways. Well a picture speaks a thousand words, so here is the image that depicts my #sps stake which currently is standing around almost 355K+ Splinterlands aka SPS & its continues to grow everyday.

My SPS Stake at 355K+ & Growing...

The current APR is above 13% and all the #SPS that I receive is being staked back to the pool. Its been a long time that I have been meticulously devising a strategy to amass a stake of at least 400K+ #SPS and now seeing how far I have come and able to vision that this GOAL for #SPS is going to be accomplished soon gives a immense sense of achievement and pleasure. I am sure most of you here would be familiar with Splintershards aka SPS which is the governance token of the game Splinterlands. Speaking off my #sps earnings daily then I am earning close to 160+ #SPS daily via the staking rewards and for providing liquidity for the PKM-SPS liquidity pool on hive-engine. My primary objective with #SPS is centered on the strategy of building and holding - #HODL it for the long term. Its a bit sad to see #sps trading at it all time low price but I am sure over a period of time things would be back on track so until then its a #HODL for *Splintershards #SPS.

Delegating SPS to earn #DEC

Next I would like to talk about the SPS delegation that earns me #DEC on a weekly basis. Though my earning with #SPS rentals has decreased; currently getting an APR of above 10% but I still continue to rent out SPS and plan is to continue doing so and accumulate as much #DEC as I can; which is another in game currency token of the game Splinterlands and most things in the Splinterlands shop and marketplace can be bought with DEC i.e. one can purchase magical items, potions, and cards. The #DEC that I am getting is being redirected to the Grain - DEC pool; well this is another passive income stream that I have generated recently.

My Stake in Grain - DEC Pool...

I started with 2 Million #grain and share percentage was 0.177% and now its has reached to 0.4%. What an ideal to earn becoming a merchant. Here is my stake in the DEC-GRAIN pool::

Yes; its 85K+ DEC in the pool and I am targeting to have 10 Million grains added to the pool. Right now I am not touching any income from here and its reverted back to the pool. So, yeah to concluded with Splinterlands as you can note there are many things one do apart from playing the game. And for me it has provided various income sources that I can leverage to my advantage and at the same time the investment continues to grow as I #hodl all the in game assets with me. Before I end this post the most importantly aspect is to have FUN while playing the game and be a proud owner of the NFT cards... Bonus point Don't be in a RUSH... you will get there on the leaderboard for sure... cheers
