Freewrite || Walking the Path Among the Coconut Trees

That morning, I decided to walk along the village road flanked by rows of coconut trees on both sides. The air was still fresh, the dew hadn't yet completely evaporated, and sunlight filtered through the coconut leaves, gently swaying in the breeze. The chirping of birds added to the lively atmosphere, as if they were cheerfully welcoming the morning. The quiet road made my steps feel light, except for the occasional rumble of passing motorcycles carrying residents to their gardens or the market.
On the left side of the road, rows of coconut trees stood neatly in place, their tall, towering trunks. A few old, dried leaves had fallen to the side of the road, signaling the passage of time and the transformation of nature. The morning sun illuminated the trunks with a calming golden hue. Meanwhile, on the right side, a stretch of greenery and a simple bamboo fence hinted at the pristine rural life, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
I paused for a moment, took a deep breath, and savored the silence rarely experienced elsewhere. There was a serenity hard to describe when standing in the middle of the road like this a combination of peace, gratitude, and freedom. The long, straight road seemed to invite me to keep walking, without rushing, for with every step lies a simple, often overlooked beauty.
Truly, this view reminded me of how precious the time we spend with nature is. You don't need a grand place to feel at peace just a quiet path, fresh air, and morning sunlight are all that's perfect. I continued on with a light heart, carrying this morning's serenity with me for the long day ahead.
